Simple Session Structure
Lately I’ve just been doing this as my main practice • Sit for a minute before playing and breathe. Try to actually arrive. • Pick one concept and stay on it exploring it fully. • At the end, just play a bit and see what comes out. Nothing fancy. It’s just easier to stay consistent when the session has some shape to it but isn't too rigid or complex. What’s the one thing you think you should focus on this week?

How This Community Works
We treat practice as a form of attention. Each week you’ll see a variety of prompts related to something to notice or try during your practice, or musical reflection and appreciation. You can follow it closely, adapt it, or ignore it. What You Won’t Find Here • No shredding contests • No critique unless you ask for it • No pressure to “optimize” your practice • No comparison loops If you want to share, you can write 1–3 sentences about one of these: • something about your attention • something about your sound • something about your impulse to rush or continue Silence is also a valid form of participation man.

Welcome Post
Welcome. This is a quiet space for guitar players who want a slower, more attentive relationship with music. You’ll see a mix of things here:• simple practice prompts• reflections on listening• music that’s moved me• occasional phonk frog. None of it is about being impressive. There’s no pressure to post, perform, or keep up. The only thing we’re really practicing here is listening—to sound, attention, and our own impulses while we play. Take what’s useful. Ignore the rest. Silence is allowed.

What kind of Music Inspires you?
Personally, I go through phases of listening. Somewhat unconsciously, I drift through different genres of music based on what my ear desires and just try to find what sounds good. Lately, two bands that I've been listening to have brought out that rare feeling of curiosity and attention grabbing sonic magnetism: Umphrey's McGee and Deltaphonic Specifically, Blueprints by Umphrey's and See Red from Deltaphonic Go give em a listen and drop some thoughts on if your phonk meter was pumping.
