Ready for Clue 4? The time has come.Ā
It's amazing to see your projects become more and more beautiful with every clue! Right now here on Skool, we have 400 projects finished with Clue 1, 350 with Clue 2, and over 200 progress photos posted for Clue 3! I especially love seeing the photos of you modelling your work with proud smiles, that always makes my day! ā¤ļø Before we move on to Clue 4, I wanted to share a fun little thing I noticed yesterday. I've been keeping a note of everyone making two versions (there are 20 of you so far!), and I realized that two of those people have the same name. What a one-in-a-million coincidence! Shoutout to @Susan Evans and @Susan Evans šŸ„‚ Clue 4 is here, and it comes with a fun new texture! I hope you’ll love adding this little stitch pattern to your projects as much as I did. I’ve already used it in a few of my recent designs, so of course, I had to include it in this one too. šŸ˜… If you already have the pattern, check your inbox for the update or refresh your Ravelry library to download the Clue 4 file. If you haven’t joined yet but would like to, you can get the pattern here. I’ve also added some new tutorials for Clue 4 in the Rujuu course. Just head to the Classroom tab to check them out! Bring on the stunning photos and let me know if you’re going straight or shaped!! 🤩

great job everybody!!!
It's time. Go get your Clue 1!
I’m so excited that for most of you, this will be your first steek! Eek! I love how brave you all are, and I really hope your trust in me pays off. The best part is, we've got a bunch of experienced steekers who can help us through this with moral support! But we don't need to worry about all that yet. Today we focus on the first clue. It's been a bit of a wait but it's officially out! If you have already purchased the pattern, check your inbox for a notification about the pattern update, then refresh your Ravelry library to download the newly added Clue 1 file.Ā If not, you can still grab it here. There’s also a few tutorials waiting for you here on Skool! Just head over to the Classroom tab and find the Rujuu course. Let the fun begin! I can’t wait to see all your amazing projects! P.S. A little note on spoilers! To keep things simple and fun for everyone this year, we won't be using spoiler photo covers or separate clue threads. This means you'll likely see WIP photos out in the open as each clue is released. If you're starting a bit later and want to keep the surprise, it might be best to hop back on here only when you're ready to see the images.

ITS HAPPENING!
A few hours left until the first clue comes out....
I'd love to hear which options you're thinking of doing! 🤭 P.S. You kind of will have to know from the get-go, and time is ticking.

@Zanete Hussain i'll actually be at my weekly mens knitting group at that time. maybe I can convince a couple friends to join the MYAL
The Mystery Yokealong is back!
Our Mystery KAL is officially back for year three! We’re knitting a top-down round yoke sweater (or a steeked cardigan) together over seven weekly clues, kicking off on January 16th. This year, we’re leaning into stash-busting, so feel free to start hunting through your yarn collection now. You can get all the details on the Ravelry pattern page or here on Skool in the dedicated Classroom where I’ll also be posting all the relevant video tutorials as clues become available. We’d love for you to jump in and share your yarn picks, questions, and progress photos. Just use the "MYAL 2026" category for your posts. Heads up: we aren’t doing spoiler alerts this time, so feel free to post away in whatever way you like just as long as it is in that category! I can’t wait to see what you all come up with this year.

@Zanete Hussain I have purchased the pattern but I fear i'm going to have to be behind the rest of the group. VOGUE KNITING LIVE is later this year (final weekend of january) and my stash doesn't support the yardage required for this project. I wanna buy pretty things at the convention for this sweater. last year the first clue dropped the day after VKL, so for us new yorkers it was supreme. lol. i'm aware you've got fans all over the world, so i'll just be a little tardy.šŸ’™

@Zanete Hussain i'll be here stealing all the best ideas.
And that’s a wrap for MYAL 2025!
Thanks so much to everyone who joined the Live Fashion Show! It was amazing hearing your stories and seeing all your awesome projects. If you missed it, here’s the recording so you can catch up! Most of you said you’d love to do this again, so it’s definitely looking like it’ll happen. šŸ˜ The only question now is about the yarn weight. I know the group might be a bit biased since you just finished a fingering weight sweater, but let’s hear what you think anyway—what should next year’s MYAL yarn weight be? šŸ¤” Share your thoughts in the comments if you have strong opinions about a specific weight and the reasons behind it! šŸ™

I enjoyed several things but learning new techniques is something I try to do with most new projects. this achieved that. i'm hearing cardigan and i've never steeked before so that could be an adventure. I almost exclusively knit in fingering weight these days cause i'll never wear a heavier sweater. too hot. HOWEVER if its a cardigan maybe dk works cause I can wear like a jacket. all love!
