March 20th
Astrological New Year! Happy Spring Equinox! Since today is March 19th, you are perfectly aligned with the astronomical "point of balance" where day and night are equal. It’s a powerful time for renewal and planting the "seeds" of what you want to grow this year. Building on your focus on grounding and space-clearing, here are three easy rituals to celebrate the return of the light: 1. The "Seed of Intention" Planting Instead of just thinking about your goals, physically ground them into the earth. This mirrors the Physical Discharge method you value by connecting your energy directly to the soil. The Ritual: Take a small pot of soil or find a spot in your garden. Hold a seed (or a small bulb) in your hand and visualize one specific "bloom" you want in your life—be it peace, a new project, or health. The Action: Press the seed into the dirt. As you cover it, say aloud: "As this seed grows in the light, so does my [Intention]." * The Benefit: It gives you a living, breathing totem to care for as the season progresses. 2. The Sun-Water Refreshment This is a gentle variation of your "Hollow Bone" recovery. Since the equinox is about the return of the sun, you can use solar energy to "charge" your internal system. The Ritual: Place a clear glass of filtered water in a sunny window for at least three hours. The Action: Before drinking, hold the glass with both hands. Imagine the sunlight within the water clearing out any "winter stagnation" from your body. The Logic: It’s a simple way to practice drinking with intention while avoiding the stimulants (like heavy caffeine) that can disrupt your grounding. 3. Threshold "Sweetening" You’ve previously used salt to seal and evict shadow; now, use the equinox to pull in the sweetness. This complements your Threshold & Heart cleansing. The Ritual: After a quick sweep of your front entrance, create a "welcome" energy. The Action: Instead of just salt for protection, place a small vase of yellow flowers (like daffodils) or a bowl of citrus fruits near your door.
