Hello! I'm starting over/retooling (VO biz). I need someone to review a short recording, as in hire a pro to do this. The problem I'm having is a faint background noise. I need to record at a higher level but if I do the mystery noise (sounds like a very faint A/C) is more prominent. I live in a very quiet location & am in a temporary booth made of PVC pipes & moving blankets covered with/foam tiles on the interior. I've tried turning everything off, heat pump, refrigerator etc. There's no traffic around here. I am using a Neumann mic, a Focusrite interface, Adobe Audition recording on a MacBook Air. Does VO Masterclass perform this sort of service? A side note, I will be converting a walk-in closet into a studio, thick 2" foam panels etc. Help, hired or free, will be greatly appreciated.

For a demo tape, how long should it be? How many seconds should a portion of a radio ad I did in the past should I include? How long should each segment of the demo be? 🤔
