We Have Another New Partner To Celebrate
🌟 Congratulations on becoming a part of our Partner Family, Michele Lefler here at Skool Events Daily. Michele has partnered with us to help our events get seen further across the Skool platform. Some conversations just flow from the very first minute… and my chat with Michele was definitely one of those. Michele and I hit it off straight away and quickly realised we had so much in common. I’m pretty sure we just about put the world to rights during our conversation 😂 There was plenty of laughter, a chat about Harry and Meghan (Michele has even read his book), Human Design (of course we did!), spirituality, all things a little bit woo, and a whole lot of exploring the “why” behind people and life. One of the things I loved most about Michele was her energy. She has that beautiful ability to make you feel like you’ve just pulled up a chair and joined a conversation with an old friend. And that is exactly the feeling she has created inside her community, The Porch. Michele describes herself as endlessly curious about people, ideas, and what makes life meaningful. She’s a librarian at heart — someone who loves learning, researching, connecting dots, and helping people find exactly what they need. Inside The Porch, Michele creates spaces for thoughtful conversations, learning, and connection through workshops, classes, meditation sessions, discussion groups, and virtual gatherings exploring topics like personal growth, money, spirituality, creativity, history, and lifelong learning. What really stood out to me was her belief that people don’t just come to events for information… they come to feel seen, find community, and connect with others who are also curious about life. And I think that sums Michele up beautifully. She creates a space where you don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to show up with curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to join the conversation. So please join me in welcoming Michele and The Porch to Skool Events Daily. Pull up a chair… we’re glad you’re here. ☕✨

Congratulations and welcome
One QR code cost me nothing. One demo cost me 30%, every year, forever
TL;DR: - Tested QR code vs. demo-only in the same session last night. - QR code straight to a community = "Joined directly," no commission taken. Demo without a link, people found the community themselves via Skool = "Joined from Skool network," Skool took 30%. - If Growth Boost is on (it's on by default, Settings > Discovery), Skool takes a 30% recurring commission on any join it decides it sourced, including people who navigate to you inside Skool rather than clicking a link you gave them. - Always put an actual link or QR code in front of people. Never rely on them finding you themselves. Ran a session last night with two communities of mine in play. One part of it, I did a demo on screen, walked through the community, but never gave people a direct link or QR code. Anyone who wanted to join YouTube For Skool had to go and find it themselves inside Skool. Those joins came in tagged "Joined from Skool network," and Skool took its 30% commission. That's on me, and it's exactly the mistake I'm telling you not to make. Later in the same session, I put a QR code on screen linking straight to Skool Events Daily. People scanned, landed directly in the community, joined. Those show as "Joined directly." No commission. Worth saying, we keep Growth Boost switched off for SED, which is part of why that result held up so cleanly. Here's what Growth Boost actually does, straight from Skool's own help docs. It's two things bundled together. First, it pushes your community higher in Skool's internal search results for keywords your ideal members are already searching. Second, Skool spends its own money running off-site ads on your behalf, Meta and elsewhere, to bring in members you wouldn't otherwise reach. You don't pay for any of that upfront. Skool fronts the cost. The trade is commission, and this is the part worth understanding properly. It's not a flat fee for having the feature switched on. It's 30%, but only on members Skool's system decides it sourced. And "sourced" isn't just ads.

Thank you for your Insights
Got an affiliate link and no idea what to post with it?👇
Hey gang, we're thinking about adding an Affiliate Classroom - ready-made tools, prompts, and images you could use to promote your affiliate link without starting from scratch each time. Would that actually be useful? Curious where everyone lands on this.

Great idea
🎉 400 Members… and we’re still growing! 🎉
Hang on a minute… did we really just hit over 400 members inside Skool Events Daily? 😲 And then I looked a little closer and realised something even better… 90 of those members have joined since the 1st July! Now that is something worth celebrating. 🥳 But the number isn't the only thing making me smile. What I’m really celebrating is what has happened since Des and I decided to join forces and created this partnership. Because if there is one thing I have learnt on this Skool journey, it’s that trying to do everything yourself is a fast track to wearing yourself out (and probably talking to yourself a little too much 😂). Skool is built on connection. It’s built on people helping people, sharing ideas, collaborating, and finding ways to support each other. I honestly believe that in today’s Skool world, you can’t just sit in your own little corner hoping people will discover you. You need to collaborate, build relationships, create partnerships, and yes… do plenty of green dollar bartering along the way. Sometimes the biggest opportunities don’t come from handing over money, they come from asking “how can we help each other?” That is exactly what Des and I have been doing, and it’s been amazing to watch the community grow because of it. So a huge thank you to everyone who has joined, shared, supported, referred, sponsored, or simply popped in and become part of what started as a crazy little experiment called Skool Events Daily. 400 members… 90 new since July 1st… and we are only getting started. Now excuse me while I go celebrate with a peppermint tea ☕

Our Latest Competition Winner and I Have A Question For You ✋
Hi, everyone. How are we all doing? You can read this or watch the video. Well, I can tell you now that Mercury retrograde is still kicking me up the pants! I was doing so well until I decided I’d record this on Zoom. But let’s see if I can do what I’ve been trying to do… and it wouldn’t let me. So, you’re going to be my guinea pigs today! We’re here to cover a couple of things. First, I have a question for you, then I’m going to talk about the referral winner, and we’ll get to that. Let me just see if this is going to work… oops, wrong one. Let’s try this. I normally am able to set all of this up beforehand, but this time it just would not let me. I know other people are having all these issues too, but honestly, I think it’s taken the mickey out of me now and I’m done! It’s one of those moments where you’re thinking, “I have so much to do and so little time,” but here we are. So before I carry on waffling, let’s dive into the classrooms. Now, I know this is not an area that you visit often. Why not? You don’t know what you’re missing! For starters, we’ve got all our Getting Started instructions, and I’m not going to go into those today. We also have information if you’re having a summit. We also always, when I remember, put the current edition of the Weekly Bulletin here, so you don’t have to scroll through the posts to find it. You’ll always find the latest one here. Then we have all the events that are happening for the week. The idea of this classroom is that you can search under the categories to make things easier. So if you’re here to browse events, you don’t have to scroll endlessly through the feed because, let’s be honest, that can be a nightmare, can’t it? Instead, you can come in here, look under the different topics, and see what is happening. We’ve got quite a few networking and masterminding events this week, along with some brilliant business-building events. Definitely have a look at those. Not to forget our financial and abundance events — because who doesn’t want some of that?
