Proof of Business Address for Relayfi
Hi, do you know any good provider for a proof of address that is accepted at Relayfi since there are very strict with their proof of address requirements. I have provided a landline phone bill and it was rejected. Do you know any good alternatives that might give no headache?

@Scott Letourneau thanks!
Do you really need ITIN as a non-resident?
ITIN stands for "!Individual! Taxpayer Identification Number". I've seen a lot of questions about ITIN number. I want to just notify anybody about the necessity to fill a U.S. federal tax return every year in case you want your ITIN to remain active. If you won't fill it won't be active. You assign ITIN for yourself when you fill the tax return form W-7. Primarily it's not an identifier for a bank or a credit rating, it's a number to pay your annual personal taxes in America. If you are a non-resident of the US, you need to pay your personal taxes in the country you reside. Filling the yearly personal tax declaration (which is ITIN created for) is an option for non-residents. Do not consider ITIN as an identificator for the bank/credit cards/credit score on the first place, it is only the second place. Federal tax is the purpose, you should fill the form every year. "If your individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN) expired, you must renew the ITIN if it will be included on a federal tax return." Without renew it will be expired: https://www.irs.gov/tin/itin/how-to-renew-an-itin An ITIN is a 9-digit number the IRS issues if you need a !U.S. taxpayer identification number for federal tax purposes!, but you aren’t eligible for a Social Security number (SSN). You may need an ITIN if you’re a: - Nonresident alien claiming a tax treaty benefit - Nonresident alien filing a U.S. federal tax return - Resident alien filing a U.S. federal tax return - Dependent or spouse of a U.S. citizen/resident alien - Nonresident alien student, professor or researcher filing a U.S. federal tax return or claiming an exception - Dependent or spouse of a nonresident alien U.S. visa holder Source: https://www.irs.gov/tin/itin/individual-taxpayer-identification-number-itin P.S.: If you want to build your personal credit history with the US and want to fill personal taxes every year you should apply for ITIN. Otherwise you will have EIN for any business operations connected with banks, etc.

@Mila Vm If you get a SSN once it's yours for always, isn't it? Have they took your greencard back? If yes, why do you think your SSN is not valid anymore? It should.

@Sable Rivers EIN is for business so not really creadit scored, but you can try to find business institutions which will give you credits maybe? I believe itin is required for credit score building.
Foreign owner of US SMLLC starting Amazon FBA — ECI? Would a partnership be better?
Hey all, thanks James and team for accepting me. I started a Wyoming SMLLC to sell private-label products on Amazon. The Amazon tax interview got me second-guessing everything. After bingeing YouTube, I’ve heard it all: “non-resident sellers pay no U.S. tax” vs “you’re taxed like any U.S. business,” plus “SMLLC is best” vs “go partnership for Amazon. I am Looking for informed, practical guidance Facts (bullet-proofing my situation): - Owner/Residency: I’m an individual non-US person residing in a non-treaty country. - Entity: US single-member LLC (Wyoming). Disregarded by default. - Business model: Amazon FBA (US marketplace) selling physical goods to US customers. Inventory will be stored in Amazon’s US fulfillment centers (multi-state). - Operations: Product design/supplier relationships, listing management, ad spend decisions, etc. are done outside the US. No US employees/contractors. No US office. Questions I’d love expert input on: - ECI determination: With inventory in US FBA warehouses and sales to US customers, is ECI basically a given for a foreign individual running FBA, even if all managerial functions happen offshore? - Best company structure : - 1) Stay SMLLC (disregarded) - 2) Partnership (add spouse or foreign company) - 3) C-corp election

MMLLC differs 3 ways : 1. Its regarded entity which means you will be threated and US entity instead of individual 2. Amazon Seller will show your company name instead of your own since it's regarded entity 3. You fill different forms W-9 as US entity on Amazon interview, 1065 for annual company report and K-1 + W-7 (ITIN) form for every member. SMLLC: 1. Disregarded entity, you will be threated as individual and it will be reflected on your personal income. 2. Your personal name on Amazon will be shown. 3. W-8 form on Amazon and 1040-NR for reporting + W-7 (ITIN) form for you only
Amex Global Transfer
Hello Members ! I have been trying to get Amex Gold through Global Transfer programm. I am Living in Germany and have been Using Amex Platinum since 4 Years. Anyone here as US-Non-Resident successfully got american Amex Gold card? The option i know (theoretically): Buy an US-Address (like from anytime mailbox) > Buy US-Phone Number (like from Tello) and use the invoice mentioning the Address and then apply for Amex. Has anyone got through this process sucessfully?

It's hard to be approved without itin
Are the NEO Banks banning us for Life? Or just banning our LLC?
Hey friends, Mercury closed my account back in 2023. I would consider going back to them under a different LLC. Has anyone heard of a person going back to Mercury, or Relayfi or Bluevine and getting approved for a totally different LLC? Or, do we have concrete “proof” that these Neo Banks are in fact banning the actual person, rather than just their LLC?
