Open your US bank account here
If you have your LLC you now need to open bank accounts (the first two are free so open both!). I'm going to share some links below to what I think are the best options. They are my affiliate links and I'll address them separately so you can understand the benefits. When applying, be honest but always emphasize more on how you will help your US clients. Relay financial - I have a great relationship with relayfi and they have told me that applicants that use this link have a greater likelihood of being approved. I use relay for my business and it has been great.the account is free to open. https://app.relayfi.com/register?referralcode=jimbaker Mercury bank - this is another great option. Again focus on how you are serving clients in the US. This link should give you bonuses once you are approved. The account is free to open. https://mercury.com/partner/jamesbakercpa Wise - this is not a bank but is a useful way to get paid and pay other people sign up with my link to get free transfers up to $500.. the account is free to open but there are small fees to open different currency accounts https://wise.com/invite/ahpc/jamesb2812 Stripe - if you are selling anything I would first try stripe.com for payment processing. I don't have a special link for them. Let me know if there are other accounts you may be interested in, how this goes for you and which you prefer!

Relay is freezing accounts and requesting an unreasonable amount of paperwork for a single wire transfer. Be aware, their procedures are becoming increasingly burdensome. Its a shit hole not a bank..
Lending money from USLLC to a foreign corporation (Canadian)
Lending money from USLLC to a foreign corporation (Canadian) is there any restrictions on loans or any specific details one need to pay attention to? I have a friend in Canada who is looking for a loan for his start up and I am willing to lend funds. Lending is not my main business, would this type of transaction create an issue with Relay or Mercury or any other bank in your opinion?
Help with opening a US bank account for non-resident
Hi James, Team and all, I'm going to be in the US for almost a full month in November and I want to open a US bank account to get paid by US companies. I have a few questions: 1. Which are my best options in terms of traditional banks and why? 2. Can I use an international address to receive my debit cards or anything else like documentation etc. from the bank? 3. Can anything crazy happen that would require me to go back to the US to get something sorted, unblock my account or seek assistance? 4. Is three weeks enough time to get everything up and running? 5. Will I have any issues with IRS and taxes if I don't live in the US? Thank you for your help!!! Angelos.

Also Mercury is now require a company’s physical address "Specifically, we’re looking for the address where you do most of your work - either US-based or international." I guess virtual office will not work in this case, anyhow would like to know your opinion if virtual office will be of any benefit at all maybe for bank account or else.

and on top of that Mercury requirement is to have US operations "You have US operations if you have employees, investors, customers, suppliers, or locations in the United States." By satisfying one of these points LLC becomes US TAX eligible?
Mercury requirements
Good ay James, In one of your last videos youve mentioned that due to latest requirements from Mercury to sign W8BEN it is recommended to go from a single to a multi member LLC. Is this transition have to be done before signing or can be filed in during tax filing times? What I am saying is sign the form with Mercury now so I can continue operate the account and when filing taxes make the switch to multi member. Also Mercury is asking mow for my personal address otherwise they will close an. account. And the last q if I dont do the switch to multi member after signing a Mercury forms and file taxes as a single member what it may lead to? Thanks and greatly appreciate your work.

One last question If I change my LLC to Manager Managed Is the manager will have to be a signatory on the accounts as well or can I remain an account signatory and only permit a manager to sign the contracts? My LLC is Wyoming.

On line banks closing banks accounts
Good day good people. I was watching last video from James where he mentioned about banks closing LLC accounts if business is not conducted with US based clients. That concerns me because my LLC was formed to collect consulting services from clients outside of US at this time like CANADA, Panama, and distribute earnings back to my tax residency in Panama. I am doing frequent purchases in US like Gold and Bullions, other stores for my hobby needs and was wondering if those will qualify as US customer. Also if anyone can point out Bank branch in Miami or any other city in US or bankers contact with whom it is easy to communicate and open a bank account I would greatly appreciate it.

Really appreciate your reply here James. Which bank or branch in Miami would you recommend dealing with? If you provide introduction services I have no problem settling with you just to make this as painless as possible

email sent. How do these on line banks look at LLC opening a brokerage account and moving funds to and from conducting trading together with other activities?
