I want to welcome the 6 new members who signed up this week, Welcome to the table. To keep everyone up-to-date, we will be completing the "Show Me your Glory study on Saturday June 13 (9:30 AM). The Following week, June 13 we will begin the "I Am" study, based on the "I Am statements of Jesus in the Gospel of John. We will also be adding an additional time so there will be two identical meetings for this study. If you are new or haven't taken the time to vote for the time slot that works best for you, please go to the pinned comment at the top of the discussion board to help be determine the times when the most people will be able to participate to schedule the new study. This study will follow the FAITH method we learned in the "Show Me Your Glory" study (If you did not participate in this study please go to the classroom and download the participant's Guide in the "Resources" section of that Classroom to familiarize yourself with this method of studying scripture. The resources for the "I Am" series will be available shortly, and will include an explanation of the FAITH method as well. I will make an announcement when they are posted. I want to take a moment to encourage everyone to participate with in the studies we do as well as the discussion board. This is where the community happens. Post what's happening in your life, or your thoughts about scripture, questions you have, things you need to community to pray for (you will see the various table at the top of the Discussion Board). We are better together - and participation is key. take a moment to like and comment on each other's posts as well. ALSO - the Verse of the Day is now in short video form. I hope this is more interesting and engaging for you. I am going to put up a poll to get your feedback on this. ONE LAST THING - Alpha is a go! The alpha course will begin July 15th. People are already beginning to sign up. Alpha will either be a part of Logos Bible School as Part of Awakening Ministry or a NEW COMMUNITY which will still be under the sponsorship of Awakening Ministry, Inc. Finalized information will be sent out soon along with EARLY REGISTRATION FORMS. I hope you will consider participating in this awesome opportunity as well as invite friends, including and especially those who are questioning their faith. Alpha is for everyone, bring questions, doubts and an open mind - you will have an enlightening experience - NO PRESSURE!

I would like to start a new community to run the Alpha Program. I will give more information about the program in the coming weeks, but I would appreciate the feedback of the member os this community about the program and if you think it is something that will spark peoples interest. I have uploaded a video to help you get a feel for Alpha course, which is an 11-week series of interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith and the meaning of life. Designed for skeptics, new believers, or anyone curious about spirituality, it provides a non-judgmental space to ask questions and discuss beliefs.
