Introduce Yourself! (Start Here - Please Read šŸ‘€ )
Welcome to Community Builders. You are now entering a hidden oasis on the internet for contentpreneurs who want to achieve financial freedom through building a profitable online community. Here's EXACTLY what to do first: Step 1: Introduce yourself below using this Copy/Paste Template: What's your nickname? Where you from? Biggest strength? Biggest weakness? Which content platform is your favourite? What do you want immediate help with inside of this community? Step 2: Invite a friend. The most successful members of this community have friends that keep them accountable and excited to continue growing and learning. Step 3: Read the best practices below. ------- Best practices in this community: • NO Cold DM's. Do not DM anyone pitching your services. You will be banned. • Try to level up quickly by commenting and posting your insights in the community. • Hit 'Like' šŸ‘ on every helpful post or comment you see to help others level up. • When you write a post, break up your paragraphs into single sentences like I am doing now - this way more people will read what you write, and actually reply. • Make sure your profile picture is a photo of you. • Be cool. • If you ever get stuck, feel overwhelmed, are not sure what 'next step' to take, just ask the community. ------ Group Rules: 1) No Self Promotion (This will get you blocked, deleted and banned) 2) No Selling in the DM's (This will get you blocked, deleted and banned) 3) No Spamming the Community Feed (This will get you blocked, deleted and banned) 4) No making posts saying: "Comment below with ___ and I'll it to you!" or "Send me a DM with the word __ and I'll give it to you"

Starting A YouTube Channel? Read this first.
Hey guys! I’m new to this awesome community. I have a decade of experience in creating content and growing social media communities. My platform of choice is now YouTube and @Ted Carr suggested that I create a post on "how to start a YouTube channel" so here are some points to consider before you hit publish. Disclaimer: I’ve decided to keep it point form but action packed. If you want me to expand on any of the points, let me know below! Disclaimer #2: You, your channel & your niche will be unique but the points below are a great place to build off of. A. It’s okay to want to make money on YouTube but you are here to serve. Service comes before profit. B. You are building an online community and the communication with that community happens on YouTube. Speak & serve directly to your audience as if they are sitting in front of you. C. 2 simple statistics to obsess over. - Are your videos getting clicks? - Are people watching most of your video? D. Your video creation process should follow this format: Idea -> Title -> Thumbnail -> Filming -> Editing -> Optimizing -> Scheduling -> Post marketing E. It doesn’t matter how bad you suck on camera or how bad your setup is… just try and improve ONE thing every time you upload. F. Consistency matters more than you think. Consistency in uploading, how you show up on camera, the value you deliver, and your integrity to your purpose. G. Don’t try and recreate the wheel, find what’s working and build on top of that. H. Finding a tribe of other YouTubers to bounce ideas off of, is mega helpful. I. I’m against batch recording content in the beginning. Why? Because IF you suck on camera and you record 6 months of content… You will suck on camera for 6 months. J. Setup 1x / week where you can film a weeks worth of content. Watch it back & see where you can improve. K. Titles & thumbnails are super important, but video the video idea matters more. L. Play the long game on YouTube and you won’t stress about the views or lack of.

@Marc Green Wie geht’s, Maxilingual? How do you impact your clients’ life with your skillset/offering? The ā€œsecond identityā€ piece sounds pretty catchy!🤩

@Marc Green two boys, Marc but it’s ideally not just about my children. My goal is to inspire child development en masse
Steve's Intro
Hey fellow Contentpreneurs! I am very excited to have found this community and to connect with you. What's your nickname? -Crash (comes from cycling) Were you from? -Grew up in Michigan, last 10 years in Colorado, just moved to Stockholm Sweden. Biggest strength? -Writing; I worked in technical writing for eight years. Biggest weakness? -Shiny object syndrome/entrepreneurial ADHD. Which content platform is your favourite? -I love Facebook, but Skool seems pretty awesome too. What do you want immediate help with inside of this community? I have come up with about 10 ideas for content based communities. Help figuring out what types of communities work best and how to start and gather the first 50-100 members would be awesome! My background is in technical writing and commercial real estate/apartment finance. I am hoping to take the industry knowledge I've built over a 15 year career and help other investors through what could be a difficult real estate market in the US for the next few years.

Hey Steve, Welcome aboard :) That's quite a move, what brought you to Sweden? I lived in Munich, Germany before I ended up in Boston... Would your community be real estate related? I am looking into growing two - real estate and child development.... And yes - I relate to the entrepreneurial ADHD. Let's figure it out and commit to what works.
