Unlimited Wellspring of Generous Genius. What's Yours?
(šŸ‘€ šŸŽ§ read or listen) Community allows you to be generous with your genius and your gifts, in a space where you also benefit from the generous genius of others. This is what I believe is already emerging. I also believe we recognize and embrace more of our true genius and gifts when we are with the right people, which is what I believe community is meant for. And to really own and share more of our abilities, I believe that's us becoming better versions of ourselves. Here are some words I shared with @Dayo Samuel, from a call we had together. I'm also pretty sure his wellspring has to do with expression, creativity, and innovation. "That's what I believe. It's just like, we all have our natural abilities and advantages. And what I like to help people do is to be more aware of it so that we can be more intentional with it in our businesses and in our lives. So, I call it your š™Ŗš™£š™”š™žš™¢š™žš™©š™šš™™ š™¬š™šš™”š™”š™Øš™„š™§š™žš™£š™œ š™¤š™› š™œš™šš™£š™šš™§š™¤š™Ŗš™Ø š™œš™šš™£š™žš™Ŗš™Ø. It's just who you are. And because it's who you are, it's just unlimited. It's your wellspring. It just keeps on flowing out from you. And because it keeps flowing out from you, you can be very generous with it. And it's your genius. It's in your genes. It's just naturally part of who you are."

What are you up to tonight?
It's Friday, it's hot (at least where I am), it's sunny, it's summer - so you might be enjoying it with friends, family or watching the World Cup and generally winding down after a long working week. Which is all good. However, if you find yourself free at 7pm BST tonight, join us for How's Life - Really? The concept is simple - we simply open up the room and let people dig into anything they'd like - initiating a discussion, seeking advice, sharing something. Think of it as an extension of those cool breakout rooms we have on our networking calls where you pick up on all kinds of stuff (last time on one of the calls, blow up dolls were mentioned, for example, in one of the rooms 😁) The first iteration of this call went really well, everyone got a chance to listen and share and made for a great debate/conversation! Got something you want to share, debate, discuss, rant? Bring it! Hope to see you there tonight!

Impatience & Patience, Cultivating Community
Our community is coming together. There are connections, bonds, and relationships unfolding. I love being in these spaces and seeing and feeling these connections between aligned people. And because the community is meant to grow on its own, I also love just ā€œhearingā€ about how members are really getting to know each other and are even beginning to collaborate. As wonderful as all of this is in beginning to come together… I admit that sometimes I’m a bit impatient with this question… ā€œHow can we connect more?ā€ I sometimes ā€œoverthinkā€ ā€œoverfeelā€ and ā€œoverdoā€ when it comes to how to make the next thing happen. I’d also say that impatience is one of these ā€œpatternsā€ that have a lesson or message. And sometimes it’s not always easy to receive the message on our own. It’s also why connections and community can be so valuable for not just learning ā€œthingsā€ but learning about ourselves and additional perspectives for what’s going on. @Karen Falkenberg on our Town Square Gathering call, shared that creating a community and relationships is a lot like gardening. It takes time. It requires patience. You have to create the fertile soil, you plant the seeds, you nurture, and things don’t always go the way you planned, but you learn and you keep growing, and you keep tending to the garden. @Chris Brandwein, I had a call with her yesterday about how to continue to grow our community. And I asked my question… ā€œHow can we connect more of our people?ā€ With warmth and insight she interrupted my tangent after I asked. ā€œThat’s your impatience talking.ā€ I received that. I knew it was true. The ā€œimpatienceā€ that comes when you’re excited about what’s being created and what’s coming, rather than just being patient and allowing. Chris even said that there is already very fertile ground for connections to happen and that she’s already connected with 3 amazing individuals that she didn’t know before. I felt myself relax after hearing this from her.

@Justin Yip hear hear! Feeling that impatience too, coming from a place of eagerness to create more momentum and move further along in business. The reminder of patience is timely to remind us that momentum will be a natural byproduct of the work we're putting in + in the meantime, we can enjoy the process šŸ˜„
