The original creditor is citibank and they have an arbitration agreement. It doesn't matter whether it’s appearing on your credit report or not. They (Midland ) have reached out to you several times. Send them a letter with your name and addressed, their name and address, the account number, the original creditor and the balance listed on the letter. Tell them I’m not paying this bill. sincerely, your name send it certified. when they respond reach out. Let’s get this violation.

The letter is considered a specified remedy which they are able to send. If they send more correspondence it would depend on what they send if it is a violation. If you send they have sent you a text or email and you send the respond that i sent you and they respond afterwards depending on what they say. it could possibly be a violation. I do this all the time for my clients. When we get a violation we are able to get the debt waived which means the client never has to pay it.

Greetings EVERYONE, I'm new to the group, Ive been studying/learning credit repair for awhile now. I'm about to repair someone's credit towards late payments on a mortgage using 15 U.S.C1681(a) 2 and 15 U.S.C 1681b. Any other Tips?

@Rodney Goldsmith 15 USC 1666b Tell them that you never received a notice from the company 20 days in advance that your payment was due. You were never late. It was a billing error pursuant to 15 USC 1666b.

Third Party Authorization
I received a letter from TransUnion that I need to verify the third party credit repair agency. Is there a reason why Legacy is not an authorized as a third party? I have to send in a letter authorizing Legacy Builders to dispute on my behalf. I paid the extra 8 dollars so I would not have to send out letters.

@Niesh Reid They are stalling you. There is nothing saying that a third party can not send a letter on your behalf. The next time you contact them you sent the letter in and tell them that you demand that they act on your dispute because their actions towards you are discriminatory and you are not being treated like other consumers. Tell the. you will consult a legal professional. Ge then persons name, id number and date that the call occurred. They can not refuse you service.
i have this discover account i cant remove
i sent out 3 letters so far yet discover is giving me a hard time! Im thinking about sending a goodwill letter this month! help
