Do You Get Service Requests?
I use the free LinkedIn plan and only see some service requests sent to me a couple of days after being submitted - with the most recent visible and everything else blurred. I'm getting a ton of service requests - with 99% of them being total spam. That's why I'm not upgrading to Premium to "unlock this request and get up to 30 more potential clients" - it's just not worth it, judging by the quality of the ones I already get. But among those requests, there are some very weird ones that have absolutely nothing to do with what I do. Like today, I saw a service request from an environmental specialist who's looking for ISO14001 & ISO45001 certification. Ugh, what? 🤣🤣🤣 What weird service requests have you ever received - on LinkedIn or else? Let's have a good laugh together.

Here's some insight on Service Reqeusts received on LinkedIn that I got as a response to my post in another community and which I find super valuable and worth sharing: 🧁 Let me try to explain... • When I visit your LinkedIn profile I can click on the services. • If I then put in a request you'll receive it and can respond to it. So far so good, BUT... • Just before I hit send, LinkedIn asks me if I want my request to go to similar service providers too • If I click yes on that... • You still get my request and can respond • The OTHER who get my request can only respond if they have a premium account SOOOO • The requests that you get and cannot respond to without upgrading DID NOT come from the services page on YOUR profile • The good news... the algorithm at play selects you as another possible match for the request • The bad news... you need to upgrade to premium to respond and the person requesting wasn't looking at you in the first place so totally cold lead. 🧁 Is it worth paying for? - LinkedIn Premium is around $60 a month. - How many sales do you need to make $720 a year? [let's say 2] - How many proposals sent to cold leads do usually covert for you? [let's say 1 in 10] - To get your 2 clients from this you need to respond to 20 requests a year. Roughly 2 a month. - Do you get these random requests more than twice a month? Consider LinkedIn Premium, otherwise... don't upgrade just for this. Tagging @Tea Valentino just to make sure you can see this.

@Tea Valentino, my experience has shown that it's a complete waste of time - except for once when I posted in a group and the owner reacted, we got to DM-ing, and now we're best online pals. @Lauren Kinghorn, 😉.

@Tea Valentino, yes - both posts start with a hook, are structured in a way that's easy to read, are visually appealing, and have a photo of me 😁.
