HOMEWORK 1. Write one daily habit to grow in diligence; 2. write one weekly habit to grow in diligence; 3. How does wisdom guide us in when to work and when to rest
1. Daily habit Staying focused on key tasks:(eg.) Writing a book. “Go to the ant, you lazy one, observe its ways and be wise.” — Proverbs 6:6 (TPT) This verse calls us to steady, purposeful effort—learning from the ant’s quiet diligence. 2. Weekly habit: Set aside the time during dinner with family for quality time not to touch your phone or turn it off from the outside world to be with your loved ones. “If you keep talking, it won’t be long before you’re saying something really wrong. Prove you’re wise from the very start—just bite your tongue and be strong!” — Proverbs 10:19 (TPT) Quality time requires listening more than speaking, and sharing. It’s in pausing to review that wisdom grows. 3. How does wisdom guide us in when to work and when to rest Wisdom helps us discern rhythm—when to press forward and when to pause. It reminds us that rest is not laziness, and work is not endless striving. Both serve purpose when led by understanding, not impulse. “Wisdom will extend your life, making every year more fruitful than the one before.” — Proverbs 9:11 (TPT) True wisdom teaches balance—labor that yields fruit, and rest that restores the soul.
