Forgiveness
Scripture: “Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” — Colossians 3:13 Forgiveness isn’t saying the hurt didn’t matter—it’s saying it won’t control you. Holding onto anger keeps the wound open, but releasing it places justice back in God’s hands. Forgiveness may not change the person who hurt you, but it will change you. It frees your heart, restores your peace, and makes room for healing. You don’t forgive because they deserve it. You forgive because you deserve peace. PRAYER Lord, I bring You the hurt I’ve been carrying—spoken and unspoken. I don’t minimize the pain, but I refuse to let it harden my heart. Give me the strength to forgive as You have forgiven me. Heal what was broken, guard my heart from bitterness, and restore my peace. I place this in Your hands today. Amen.

Daily prayer
Lord, I come before You with an open heart. Thank You for showing me the areas where You’re inviting growth and healing. I don’t want to resist Your work—give me the strength to surrender fully. Search me, O God, and know my heart. Reveal anything in me that does not reflect You— any pride, fear, bitterness, or hidden hurt. Gently remove what doesn’t belong and replace it with Your peace, truth, and love. Create in me a clean heart, Lord. Renew a right spirit within me. Help me walk in obedience—not out of fear, but out of love and trust in You. Where I am weak, be my strength. Where I am confused, be my guide. Where I am weary, be my rest. I choose You again today. Lead me in the way everlasting. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Preserving
In the mist of singleness can often feel lonely, hopeless, tiresome, and even produce envy. “I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭7:32 Being single means a lot because it’s just you and the Lord. You can talk freely with him, date him, be concerned of his kingdom, meditate, journal for hours, and all of these things that you do! I know sometimes you want “your turn” but it is your turn to learn him more and go deeper with him and trust him. He won’t fail on his promise. Yes all of these things I’ve felt and still feeling but I won’t lose faith. I hope someday someone knows they aren’t alone that they have him in Christ Jesus. “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭5‬ ‭ Contentment is the Key. Content in singleness. Let him heal parts of you that you can’t, let him speak to you in ways you never thought he would, run into his arms like never before, and seek him in all ways. I mean he used a burning bush to talk to Moses for crying out loud lol! Let him speak to you. He knows you way better than you know yourself! I share this openly in my singleness. I hope this finds you well 🙏🏾😘
