I used to take one post, trim it a little bit, and put it everywhere. It looked like a good shortcut at the time, because... hey, I was present, right?! But it also made every place feel flat and boring, and really nobody would interact with my posts. Now I like to take one idea and give each spot a different job instead. - LinkedIn gives me the space to explain my big thoughts and walk through the thinking. - Instagram helps me make the idea easy to look at or save for later. - Facebook gives people room to talk back and chat with each other. The core idea stays the same, but the real experience changes for whoever is reading it. I am trying this out now because just posting more stuff was not fixing the quiet. I would love to know... Are you omni-present on all the platforms? And do you give each place a different job, or do you mostly just change the words around?
