Gov contract fraud settlement
Booz Allen Hamilton agreed to pay back the government $377.5 million. Y’all…this is one of the largest settlements for procurement fraud EVER. From 2011-2021, Booz Allen allegedly created “indirect cost pools”...lumping together their commercial and government contracts and tacking on additional costs to have a constant pool of money to access.

County Bids
Since I’m still waiting around for SAM.gov to get around to give me my CAGE code I’ve been looking at some county/city level contracting opportunities and I think I’m going to try and send one out! We shall see how this works out!

@Derek James Yeah, it’s been exciting. Lol. Glad I know how to read. 🤣. The local and county level want you to have various certifications and be licensed. Which isn’t bad.. is it worth my time really, right now. It was exciting to learn the different solicitations they put out and knowing whether or not I can deliver. I’ll just get back on the Federal side of things for now.

Subcontract
Should I find a subcontractor first before submitting a proposal or should I win the contract then look for the subcontractor

I think you should find a subcontractor 1st. Get 3 of them and get their pricing and quotes, skills and what all of them can provide so you can add all their information into the proposal. I wouldn’t try and find a contractor after..
