I use the paid version of both. They're the same but different. I find Claude a bit deeper and the output/report structure more aligned with my report writing, but it doesn't do images. Still working through Claude Skills...so far so good. Chat has been lagging a bit. I use it for some automated/scheduled tasks. Unfortunately some days I have to redo the instructions. But, I started with Chat a few years ago and it has been trained thoroughly.
