What are you working on this week? (31 August)
It's officially Back To School week here in UK and my youngest son is starting his A Levels in the Sixth Form. We've been out and spent a small fortune on a new suit as his school requires "smart business attire" and now we're trying to get back into the routine of waking up to alarms and working to timetables 😆 What’s YOUR focus this week? Perhaps it’s: ✨ Creating or improving your coaching offer 🌱 Growing your community 📝 Creating resources for your clients 📣 Getting more eyes on your offer 💬 Finding new clients 📚 Learning something new 🛠️ Getting those behind-the-scenes jobs done ☀️ Making some time for yourself too Pop your focus for the week below ⬇️ And let us know if there are any areas you’d like some support 🧡

@Natalie Hurdley Yeah, you mentioned that you’re going to repurpose your blog posts and long YouTube videos. Have you already built a system around this, or how are you currently doing it?

@Natalie Hurdley Yeah, I’m asking because I built a similar system for one of my clients. She writes a blog post, and the system turns it into different types of social media content for each platform. It uses her content strategy, brand assets, voice, and language to make sure everything sounds like her. Once she reviews and approves everything, we automatically publish it as well.
What happens after a client says YES? 👀
You’ve had the sales call conversation and your client wants to work with you 👏 So what happens next in your business? 👀 I think we spend a LOT of time thinking about how to get someone to the point where they say yes... But then much less time thinking about what happens immediately afterwards. - Do they get a welcome email? - A questionnaire? - Something explaining how everything works? - Something to prepare them for their first session? - Do you have a set process you follow every time or does it depend on the client? What’s the very first thing that happens in YOUR business after someone becomes a client? I’d love to know 👇

@Miri Campbell For us, once someone becomes a client, the first step is an onboarding call. We use that call to explain how we’re going to work together, the tools we’ll use, and what they can expect throughout the engagement. After the call, we send them everything discussed so they have it documented and can refer back to it whenever needed. We also agree on the key metrics and outcomes we’ll track throughout the engagement. Then we invite them into our working space, whether that’s Slack or whatever platform they prefer, so all communication and collaboration can happen in one place. This helps make the process clear and organized for the client from day one.

@Miri Campbell Thanks!!
I Built an AI Skill That Turns Voice Notes Into Instagram Reels
The biggest tax on creative work isn’t having ideas. It’s the friction between having an idea and publishing it. I wanted to share concepts more consistently on Instagram, but I refuse to spend hours setting up cameras, adjusting lighting, or cutting timelines in an editor. So I built a system to remove the friction entirely. Here is the exact architecture: 1. Input: I record a raw 2-minute voice memo on my phone while walking or thinking out loud. 2. Structuring: An AI agent digests the audio and scripts it specifically for visual retention. 3. Audio: Generates the voiceover using my own cloned voice. 4. Motion Engine: It programmatically builds the kinetic typography, UI cards, and vector animations to match the pacing. 5. Human-in-the-Loop: Once rendered, it pings my Telegram with the finished MP4. One tap to approve, and it dispatches straight to Instagram. My entire input is just thinking out loud into my phone. (Proof of concept: the video attached to this post was built and rendered entirely by this system).

What content is actually working?
I think this could be a really interesting problem to solve. Instead of guessing what content will perform, we could talk to people who are already struggling with this and understand what they actually need. Then we can build a simple test using our own content and metrics to identify patterns and predict which type of content is more likely to work. Once we know what’s working, we can double down on it and create more of the content that actually drives results. How are you currently tracking which content is working for you? 👇

Would you go free, freemium, or paid with a new Skool community?
@Tamsin Kaminski asked this question this week in this post, and I wanted to hear what you think. Tamsin is building a Skool community around workplace culture and leadership, with a specific space for female leadership too. So, what would you do? 1️⃣ Free, freemium or paid? Would you start with a free community and give members the option to upgrade once they’ve experienced it? Or would you charge something small, such as $5 a month, from the beginning? If you’ve tried either approach, what happened? 2️⃣ One platform or several? When you’re growing a community, do you concentrate on bringing people in from one main social platform, or do you use several? What has actually worked for you? 3️⃣ How niche would you go? And thank you @Tamsin Kaminski for letting me share your questions with everyone! 🌷
