The "nothing to cook" fridge game
Ever stood in front of your fridge with random bits and no idea what to make? So let's play a little game. Drop 2-3 ingredients you've got sitting in your fridge or cupboard right now (veg, meat, whatever) in the comments, and I'll reply with a quick idea using just a few everyday spices. A few things you'll notice once you try it: - Most Indian dishes only need a handful of spices, not a cupboard full - You can turn almost any veg or protein into something good with the right technique - It's way more forgiving than people think mistakes usually still taste fine - You'll stop wasting food because you'll always have an idea for what's in the fridge Drop your ingredients below and let's see what I can make 👇

Ever looked at a potato and thought...
... you know what this needs? To become ICE CREAM! ...or a watermelon and thought... Obviously this should be a birthday cake! Hi! I'm Chef Jen, and I run 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 & 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱, where we turn everyday plant foods into recipes that make people do a double take. Around here we make things like: 🍉 Watermelon birthday cakes 🥔 Potato ice cream 🌱 Lentil tofu 🎃 Pumpkin seed feta and plenty of other "𝙒𝙖𝙞𝙩... 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙡𝙮?!" creations. If you're curious about eating more plants without boring food, complicated recipes, or food guilt, come hang out with us. You might leave believing potatoes have a secret identity! What's the wildest thing you've ever made in your kitchen? Spill it in the comments!

@Jenny Rader-Bakos ok, how are you getting on with coconut yoghurt? My mum went through a phase of making coconut kefir from those blocks of creamed coconut.
What's stopping you from cooking it?
