Plaster recipe??
Hi, I built this outdoor shower with cinder blocks and stucco. I want to add cob walls around it. It has no covering. I am unsure if I should add portland or lime to the cob mix (or both) and what would be a good recipe or mix for plaster? Can hydrated type S lime work or does it have to be hydraulic? The climate is dry Northern Arizona. Thanks!

Ok awesome thank you! Type S is more readily available so I'm happy to hear that. I'm going to send you a private message about the upcoming workshops . I have some questions and hope to be able to join in for hands on fun!
Feedback: What would you like more of here?
Hey, Let me know what you'd like to see more of here on our Skool community. Rather than create a poll with some options, I'll leave it up to you all to detail exactly what you want. For example, specific video topics, design and planning information, land and codes/regulations, live calls/presentation ideas/topics, etc... Let me know! Thanks!

One thing I've been wondering is sand mix/ratio for adobe bricks compared to cob mixture. Also what should the mix texture be for making adobe bricks? I just watched an older video you did showing stabilization mixes and that was so helpful for my planning of an outdoor shower.
Soil test results. What does it mean?
Hi , I have a question. I did a scratch test and made a little brick with my soil and it's hard as rock so I thought it would be perfect for adobe or cob. I then did the jar soil test and waited over 24 hours. It doesn't look like the soil separated at all. What does this mean? Both soils samples were from the same area on my land.

Ok thank you, I did add soap but this scared me. I made bricks 4x10x14 and they were good, but this test was the only one that had me questioning! My land is in north-central AZ , near Williams so I am really hoping I can use the soil as is. Any thoughts on that area?
