M3 Live Maryland Videos
Oh what a time we had in Columbia Maryland for M3 Live. I'm sharing 3 of the Videos attendees created during the Content Workshop Session. These are excellent examples of what is possible when we are intentional in our approach and prioritize getting the information to those that need it most over the video being perfect. Let me know in the comments below what you think.

I was there in Maryland, and it was an incredible experience! Seeing everyone create content on the spot really drove home the idea that done is often better than perfect. I’m still putting many of those lessons into practice, but every week with Wednesday Night Encounter I’m getting a little better. Thanks again for pouring into all of us—it was well worth the trip! 👏🎥

It’s becoming obvious this isn’t just a course—it’s a full-time education! 😄 I’m going to set aside a dedicated day to go through everything you’ve provided because I don’t want to just watch it… I want to implement it. Thanks for investing so much into this community!

Great topic! We currently do Wednesday Night Encounter live on YouTube, and I’m interested in learning the advantages and disadvantages of a live-to-drive (live-to-tape) workflow. For a one-person production team, would you recommend pre-recording and premiering the content, or continuing to broadcast live? I’d love to hear when one approach is more effective than the other, especially for a church ministry focused on consistency and quality.

Hello everyone! I'm Vanessa, joining from Columbia, South Carolina. I'm the Media Ministry Manager for McFadden Worship Center, a new church plant. My focus is building a strong digital ministry through YouTube, livestreaming, AI-assisted content creation, and social media that helps people engage with faith beyond Sabbath worship. I'm also passionate about creating systems and workflows that make ministry more effective with a small team. My current go-to production tools are StreamYard, Canva, ChatGPT, and Opus Clip, and I'm always looking for ways to improve our live-to-tape workflow and create more engaging content without adding hours of editing. As for my "Crash Cart" moment... during one of our livestreams everything was ready to go—except the microphone was muted. We made it several minutes into the broadcast before realizing no one could hear us! It taught me the importance of having a pre-live checklist and never assuming the audio is working just because the meters are moving. I'm excited to learn from everyone, share ideas, and continue growing our media ministry. Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Thank you, Kirk! I really appreciate the warm welcome. I’m excited to be part of the community and learn from everyone here. Right now, my focus is Wednesday Night Encounter, our weekly YouTube-first digital ministry designed to reach people beyond the walls of the church through practical, faith-centered conversations and teaching. I’m currently a one-person media team, so I’m wearing every hat—from planning and graphics to production, streaming, and post-production. I’m looking forward to learning from everyone’s experience and building a more efficient live-to-tape workflow. And yes… the “no audio” lesson definitely reinforced the importance of a solid pre-show checklist! 😄 Thanks again for the warm welcome.
