Haha, it always looks so easy in the videos and so hard to pin in real time. This is awesome!
Harai goshi is terrifying lol

It looked like a single-leg—maybe a double-leg—countered with a harai goshi using an underhook, and the other guy was completely out of breath. I felt a little bad for him, but I also laughed out loud at how absurdly easy it looked for the judoka.

This is good, but I think you had a different move for this I liked more. What do you think, sensei?

Happy new year!!!
Happy new year Martial arts friends and family! What's something you want to do more of this year? I want to do more judo at a local dojo, and maybe host a few seminars this year.

I would say, largely, more of the excellent curriculum you already offer. The sheer volume of information out there can be overwhelming, and I really appreciate your focus on low-risk, high-return actions. I also find that many martial arts approaches begin in the middle of an altercation, whereas in real-world situations, what matters most is anticipating and managing the very first move.
