A few people have asked me if they're allowed to post here. Yes, you are! This isn't my stage, it's our workshop. 🎬 Post whatever you're working on: a clip that came out great, a clip that came out weird, a prompt that did something you didn't expect, a question you feel is too basic (it isn't). Half-finished is fine. Failed is even better, because that's where we all learn something. 😄 Not sure where to start? Reply to this post with two things: 1. What you're making (short film, ads, music videos, just playing around) 2. The one tool you use most right now And if you see someone using the same tool as you, say hi. 👋

I just bought DaVinci Resolve Studio. If you are in Europe, the Blackmagic store adds VAT on top of the $295 price, bringing it to around €313. Here are the cheapest legitimate options I found, all from authorized resellers, all with VAT included. Vocas (Netherlands) - €268 This is what I went with. Authorized Blackmagic dealer. The license key arrives by email within 5-10 minutes. No physical card, no shipping. The key activates the latest version (21.1) and all future updates. Same software, same features as buying direct from Blackmagic. One thing to know: no refunds once you order, since they cannot verify the key has not been used. That is the cheapest legitimate price in the EU. Thomann (Germany) - €275 Also authorized, also digital delivery by email. Massive retailer, very reliable. Slightly more expensive than Vocas but still a solid option. The activation key may arrive by email or as a physical card by post, it is not guaranteed to be digital only.
