London 1989
This started as a headshot from London in 1989, arranged through Nigel Askew. Not long before, I’d booked a Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum commercial for the UK market—shot in Los Angeles—so London felt like the next chapter. I didn’t book there. I was told I was too all-American, too short. But looking back, that headshot still held something powerful. I turned it into pop art because sometimes the image outlives the opinion.

@Hil Kane Hi Hil, Cristal kindly introduced me and spoke very highly of you. I’d love to connect and get to know you. She also shared some happy news I just welcomed a baby boy, so it’s an especially exciting time for me. . Looking forward to chatting!

@Hil Kane yes thanks so much.
CBS SPECIAL
CBS Special Girls from all over the world sent in photos. Some sent in video. I sent in a fully produced screen test. That led to me being featured on the CBS special The Search for Scarlett (Scarlett O’Hara, Part II) — hosted by John Forsythe of Charlie’s Angels fame. They interviewed me while I was walking on the beach in Malibu, aired my screen test, and the whole experience felt surreal. Years later, I realized Brooke Shields was also featured on the same special — and she openly said she’d never want to audition for something that intense. Looking back now… it makes the moment even wilder. ✨ Hollywood was different then. And so was the courage it demanded.

@Cristal Vancarson That’s amazing! Having Brooke Shields as your idol and then being part of the same special it’s like a dream coming full circle. No wonder that experience felt so surreal...
Bruce Willis
Rare 1989 Music Video 🎤🎬 Most people have no idea that Bruce Willis had a brief moment as a recording artist in the late ’80s — but I do, because I auditioned for this video, met him, and booked it. This is Save the Last Dance for Me — and in the video, I play the bride. Bruce told me I reminded him of Demi Moore, which I’ll never forget. The quality isn’t great — but that’s because this video is rare. This is the only copy I could find, and honestly… that makes it even more special. ✨ Proof that Hollywood history doesn’t always live in HD.

@Cristal Vancarson Absolutely, Cristal! It really sounds like a once in a lifetime experience. Meeting Bruce Willis, getting a Demi Moore compliment, and acting alongside his best friend wow, that’s Hollywood magic right there! Thanks again for sharing this..
