I have Rs. 7 lac in the Meezan Cash Fund (emergency). I also have a surplus sitting idle in my current account, so I want to invest Rs. 150,000/month for the next 12 months (total Rs. 18 lakh). My plan — monthly split: - Rs. 100,000 → Meezan Cash Fund - Rs. 50,000 → Meezan Financial Planning Fund of Funds – Moderate Allocation Plan Goal: beat inflation (~11–12%) with some growth, while keeping risk low. Mutual funds only — I don't want to invest directly in PSX right now. Is this split sensible, or would you suggest a better Shariah-compliant fund for the growth portion? Jazak Allah.
