I'm posting this for those who'd like a broader scope of discussion. One thing I can say when it comes to any discussion about Africa, is that discussion never stays in Africa alone. With rising tensions in northern Ethiopia resurfacing, concomitant with the Sudanese armed forces (SAF) seemingly pushing the RSF siege of in el-Obeid in neighboring Sudan's civil war, the connection these two seemingly separate conflicts share with the conflict in Iran, and the Middle East as a whole, is difficult to dismiss.
