Infusion Documentation steps
I am doing my first IV infusion tomorrow and want to make sure I have all the correct steps for documentation. The client signed consents and completed paperwork. He has completed the GFE and was approved. Do I need to do an order in intake Q like you do with GLP1s or just go straight to the charting? Also, I ordered the fluids and vitamins for office use. Do I need to order them patient specific as well. Or is there a place I can find the steps for this process?

Send paperwork, get consents signed, do the GFE. Once approved- administer off the protocol in the medical services manual. Then you complete the IV/IM treatment chart (ARC-protocols) during the infusion and select which protocol you used and if you added any additional vitamins. Make sure the GFE approved the patient for whatever you are administering. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have questions

Thank you. I did see that but didn't know if there was another one that has exactly each amount you draw up for each bag. One of the videos had one in it. Do you know if there is a beauty bag protocol?

Cheat Sheets
Is there a cheat sheet or reference guide on IV infusions, Vitamin injections and peptides? Like a quick reference what's what, dose, frequency, compatibility or combine with, etc. And where can I find the SOPs for different therapies and positions?

Hey everybody! I'm Tyla Honekamp from the small town Slaton Texas (outside of Lubbock). I have been a Registered Nurse for 17 years with experience in critical care, acute care, case management and home health. I am currently an instructor at Slaton High School for Patient Care Technicians and Phlebotomy Technicians. I love what I do now because I get to give students job opportunities as soon as they graduate high school. I have wanted to get certified in botox/filler for several years and finally made the leap. I will be opening a Med Spa in our small town offering botox/filler/IV infusions/peptides/GLP1s to get started. Then I plan on expanding once things get rolling. I am a newbie to the business and injector world but I am so thankful I was able to get the contact information for Brandon, who has been so helpful in just 2 days. I'm so excited to get this business launched and I couldn't do it without this platform and community.
