I am currently building a dope webapp that is able to create personalized upwork proposals, cover letters and job relevant diagrams, but my biggest issue is being able to scrape upwork profiles. Need Help with Supabase Webhook Trigger!
Hey there! 👋 I'm diving into building my first web application platform, and I'm super excited about it! 🚀 Right now, I'm stuck on creating a Supabase webhook trigger. Here's what I need: I want to set up a function that triggers a webhook in n8n whenever a new row is created in a specific column in Supabase. This webhook will then fetch the row data and send it to the next node in n8n. For context: My webapp automates writing Upwork cover letters, proposals, and creates solution diagrams tailored to job requirements. I've integrated a scraper to extract Upwork profile URLs, but I'm struggling with passing this URL from Supabase to the scraper in n8n. Any advice or guidance on setting up this webhook would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! 🙏

You don’t need a function you can use the webhook module and get the data from supabase. In supabase go to the database, create a new webhook and put the webhook from n8n in there and pick the database your watching to get the data sent you want. Hope that helps @Ravn Østhagen
📖 Story Time: I Bought a Blog for $250 and Automated It for Passive Income
So recently I was scrolling through Flippa — if you don’t know, it’s a marketplace where you can buy websites, SaaS tools, and all types of online businesses. I came across a blog with 70 articles already published, and I thought: “You know what? I want to make some passive income, but I don’t feel like writing a ton of blog posts from scratch.” So I bought it. It cost me $250, which was more than I originally planned to spend, but it had solid content and a decent SEO foundation — it just needed a few tweaks. Here’s what I did: 🔧 What I Set Up: - Hooked it up with AdSense and another ad platform for monetization - Created a Pinterest account to drive traffic - Used Make.com to automate everything I built an automation that pulled all 70 blog posts and automatically uploaded them to Pinterest for more visibility. Now whenever I post a new article, it gets pushed to Pinterest without me lifting a finger. 🧠 Why I Did It Honestly, I wanted something I could learn from and earn from. I knew I could grow this blog with automation and smart distribution — and the best part is now it’s running mostly on autopilot. It’s already working for me while I sleep. 💬 Curious — anyone else tried flipping blogs or automating content like this? Let me know. I’ll drop the exact tools and Make.com setup I used if you want to try something similar. The Blog Theyogaleague.com
