What’s good everybody — I want to start by introducing myself so you know who’s behind this community. My name is Dejon Hodges, founder of Next Gen Wealth Group. Over the years I’ve spent a lot of time studying how the financial system works — especially how lenders evaluate financial profiles, why some people get approved for opportunities while others get denied, and what actually separates strong financial positioning from weak financial structure. A big reason I understand this space the way I do is because earlier in my life I was around environments where people were constantly trying to figure out how financial systems worked — sometimes the wrong way. Being exposed to that showed me something important: most people don’t actually understand the system they’re operating in. A lot of people are guessing, repeating bad information, or learning the hard way. At a certain point I realized something though — if you take the time to actually understand how financial systems work and apply that knowledge the right way, you can create real opportunities for yourself and others. That realization pushed me to redirect my focus toward education, structure, and helping people build stronger financial foundations instead of trying to work around systems that were never designed to be shortcuts. That’s why I created this community. This group is basically going to function like a financial playbook / curriculum where I break down things most people were never taught about money, financial systems, and positioning yourself for bigger opportunities.
