This evening I went for a float. I have been floating for many years…and I became aware of the back of my head relaxing into the halo provided to support the head. I thought of the jaw and noticed the whole of my spine relax more deeply on the water when I did the double-chin move. In fact my head seemed to be naturally aligned in that position even though I would have imagined it to be hanging back, if that makes sense. I dropped off quickly and deeply. It was a very nice experience. I felt revived and happy that I am thinking all the time about what’s happening with my jaw & how it’s affecting the rest of me. It is not always possible for me to take the time to notice or be aware but these micro moments are becoming more frequent and so awareness will increase and what is exciting is the journey from one place to the next : )
