How to Win Back Time
When it comes to being in a family, I'm sure we can all agree that time is always short. Not enough time to hang out together, not enough time to work on ourselves, not enough time to even stress! As I see it, there are two solutions we can look at for the problem of a lack of family time; 1. We can create more time by cutting back on other aspects of our life 2. Maximising the most time together when we are present Here are two actions for solution one; 1. Saying "NO" to other commitments - This could be extra work, social commitments or even taking phone calls when we can schedule them for a less 'family time' of the day. If you want to feel PURPOSEFUL with your time, say 'no' more often. 2. Create tradition - it's hard to schedule in time for the family. But if you can create a tradition like the famous 'Sunday night dinner'. It will become very habitual and you can guarantee you'll always have time for one another. Here are two actions for solution two; 1. Be present - this sounds obvious but how often is your phone in the same room as you when you're with your kids. Do you take it to the dinner table with you? The less time being distracted, the more purposeful and impactful your time together. 2. Prioritise quality over quantity - rather than just lingering around the house together, how about doing something more enjoyable? e.g. going for a walk, playing a game of Uno These solutions are endless. One task I'm going to set for you to do is to do an audti about where most of your time is spent and where you can prioritise it 😊

Great words, i've had to revisit this as i too felt time get away for things i've neglected or needed to prioritize. Seen a significant improvement over a few weeks

Biggest change was setting boundaries for certain activities. Some I didn't think that needed them because they felt 'flexible' but they were the ones that ended up losing out time for or not giving it all. One was Having a set afternoon for family time ALL together. Earlier the better. Starting out with games or an outdoor activity which flows into great chats and all of us genuinely enjoying every bit Everytime.
New course!!
Next week I’m going to be filming a new course which will be based on the concept of communication and emotional regulation! Who’s excited?!? 🎉🥳
