I'd love to know....
How were you introduced to IBC? What got you started? How many introductions did it take before you "caught" it?

@Marvin Simms Did you start your policy early on when you first were introduced?

Hi Ella Katie! How long have you been doing IBC?
My Mom and IUL…
My mom is meeting with a State Farm agent this morning to talk about converting her term policy into an IUL and invited me on ( I thought we were meeting to discuss whole life). I’m not all that familiar with IUL or variable mechanics. What questions should we be asking the agent?

Tracking policy loans
I’m curious, who creates a promissory note and a payment schedule for each policy loan they take… and who just maintains a habit of paying policy loans back?

@Joe Matchette i do the exact same.
Let's talk about 401k's
My wife has a 401k that she is contributing $500 a month to. Her employer is contributing around $160 a month. I pitched to her that we should harvest that and put it into our policy. But she doesn't want to lose free money. (I'm working on her guys, LOL) Here is my question... Would you just redirect the $500 to the policy every month? Or, would you take the balance of $160k, take the penalty and put the whole amount in the policy, along with the $500?

@Shelby Craig i went through this myself a few years ago. I decided to liquidate. But I was in a crazy tax favorable scenario and I paid 0 taxes on it. I only paid the 10% penalty. So it was worth it to me. FYI I had tax credit from adopting kids from foster care, so if you have ever considered adopting kids…. lol.

@Joe Matchette I struggle even with the match. I don’t find my 401k right now. It’s 100% match. Because I want all money in policies. But I have considered starting new employer 401k for the match…. Choices
