The Solo Women's Travel Numbers Are Getting Hard to Ignore
Been tracking this for my own bookings and the trend is bigger than I expected. The Adventure Travel Trade Association is reporting a 230% increase in companies built specifically for women traveling without a partner or spouse. Intrepid Travel saw a 59% jump in bookings on their women's trips in a single year. And Journey Woman's research found 65% of solo women are actively seeking out women-only or solo-friendly group options before they'll book anything at all. (Source: JourneyWoman, "2026 Travel Trends: Why is Women-Only Group Travel Suddenly So Popular?") What stands out to me isn't just the growth, it's the why underneath it: this isn't women wanting something different than they wanted before, it's women who were always hesitant to go alone finally finding products built for exactly that hesitation, instead of generic solo-travel copy that assumes confidence is already there. If you're working with a 50+ or women-focused niche at all, this feels like more than a trend line, it's a positioning gap. Curious if anyone else here is seeing this show up in real inquiries this year, or in how clients are describing what they're looking for.

@Christine Berencz we have talked. I love checking in with other members and seeing what they're doing. I feel like we don't do that enough. I would love to maybe create some sort of forum where people just. Chat about what they're doing. What is working for them and what is not working for them. Can you imagine how much we can learn from each other in a something like that? I wonder if other members would actually show up to a chat like that

Talk Travel Tuesday - How I Use AI in My Business
This week, I shared a behind-the-scenes look at how I’m using 15-minute time audits and AI to manage a very busy season of life and business. Inspired by strategies from Dan Martell and Alex Hormozi, I began tracking my days in 15-minute increments. I then upload those audits into AI for a weekly review. This helps me identify where my time is going, celebrate the wins, recognize the tasks consuming too much energy, choose my most important “frogs,” and regroup for the week ahead. I also explain how I turn the real stories, lessons, and experiences captured in those audits into an organized social media plan. Instead of constantly wondering what to post, I’m using what is already happening in my business to create relevant and authentic content. The goal is not to fill every available minute with more work. It is to protect my time and headspace so I can focus on serving clients, growing my business, and prioritizing the work that creates the greatest return.

Love this, Christine the "15-minute audit → AI review → content plan" loop is such a clean system. I've landed on something similar but split across tools: I use Gemini to do the heavy lifting on extraction (pulling patterns out of what actually happened that week), then run it through Claude to stress-test against what I can realistically execute given my constraints versus trying to make one tool do both divergent thinking and hard prioritization. Curious whether you've ever hit a week where the "frogs" the audit surfaces conflict with what you planned to post that week, and if so, which one wins for you .. the plan or the data?

So I just wanted to share that I am the least tecchy person, but for the last two years I have been using ChatGPT, (this was my very first AI tool). They told me that I have to train it so that it knows me better. Well, in the beginning it was very basic prompts I was using, and over time, ChatGPT has got to know me and my plans and projects better and better. Tips: 1. Create a Master Prompt - your goals, your plans and projects, your studies, achievements - everything and include an updated CV. Upload it to ChatGPT. Then, ChatGPT has it stored into his memory bank about you, so that you do have to keep reminding ChatGPT every new prompt! 2. Settings - keep your Memory on at all times. 3. Create your Bio in Settings, and how you would like to be addressed. 4. It's worth upgrading to a paid subscription - Plus at £20 per month and then eventually go for Enterprise! (Top Tier). 5. Put ChatGPT in Work Mode - so much better. 6. Start adding your plugins - Gmail, Calendar, Notion, Slack etc - whatever you use. 7. Ask ChatGPT to set up to 5 daily scheduled reminders. 8. You can get your Claude chats exported over to ChatGPT. 9. You don't need to ask it to "act as a publishing expert" etc - just talk to it. 10. Always tell it - You can do better - until you get the right answer! 11. Every morning, ask ChatGPT to bring up today's schedule - then prioritise to the top 3, predict how long each task should take you, ask it to document the procedure, and then automate it, and choose the best tool for that with step-by-step instructions for a complete beginner! 12. Start using ChatGPT with several prompts all in one! You will start to see that you move alot quicker! Let me know how you get on!

This is a great list, thank you for putting it together. One thing I'd add specifically for travel agents: be careful trusting AI for anything client-facing without checking it first. It's fantastic for drafting, organizing, and speeding up research, but it will occasionally invent a hotel amenity, a visa requirement, or a fare rule that sounds completely plausible and is just wrong. I've started keeping a short list of trusted sources (State Department, supplier sites, GDS) that I cross-check anything client-facing against before it goes out. Doesn't slow things down much, and it's saved me from a couple of confident-sounding mistakes. Also seconding #1, the master prompt idea, but I'd frame it as your business context rather than just a CV: your ideal client, your current offerings, your pricing rules, your voice. Once that's loaded in, everything it drafts for you sounds like you instead of generic travel-blog copy.

@Christine Berencz Good question not really, no. Paid tiers get you smarter models, longer context, and fewer usage limits, but hallucination is a property of how these models work, not a bug that gets patched out with a subscription. Even the best paid models will still occasionally state something wrong with total confidence. What actually reduces it: giving the AI source material to work from instead of asking it to recall facts from memory (paste the actual hotel policy vs. asking "what's their policy"), and cross-checking anything client-facing against a real source before it goes out. Paying for a better model helps at the margins, but the verification habit is what actually protects you.

Hi @Rose Rabotte , welcome! Glad you found your way here. Travel's such a fun thing to dig into, whether it ends up being something you do for fun, for income, or both. What's drawing you to travel specifically, is there a dream trip or destination that got you curious in the first place?

@Christine Berencz Haven't gotten the audios but I am thinking with the drives to and fro might be worth it to stream the content.
