Early intervention
I’ve had the privilege of working in Birth to Three (early intervention), where I support young children and their families during some of the most important developmental years. In my role, I help assess developmental needs, create individualized plans (IFSPs), and coach families on strategies to support communication, social-emotional growth, and daily routines. A big part of my work is meeting families where they are—using play-based, functional approaches to build skills in a natural environment. I have extensive experience working with children with autism. Autism is a developmental difference that can impact communication, social interaction, sensory processing, and behavior. In young children, this might look like delays in speech, limited eye contact, challenges with joint attention, or difficulty with flexibility in play and routines. Through early intervention, we focus on building foundational skills—like engagement, communication, and regulation—while empowering caregivers with tools and strategies to support their child’s growth every day. Early support can make a meaningful difference, and I’m passionate about helping families feel confident, informed, and supported along the way. So please feel free to reach out about any questions.
