Addi Socks with a Heel.
Happy Easter everyone! Yesterday my time was spent trying to see how well I could do short rows on the Addi for socks. They are my love language.💕. After a whole day of some serious frustration, I came to the conclusion that I’m going to have to really work on that more to get short rows for heels and toes that look nice on the Addi. I did however make these with the 22 that uses a drawstring on the toe in the heel. This is a variation on a pattern and I found by Yay for Yarns. Are they perfect? No. And I don’t like socks and worsted weight. So they’re more like house slippers to me. But, I’m going to try this with doubled sock yarn, and see what the results might be. I will keep you posted!

🧶 Celebrating Two New Level 8 Members 💛
Please join me in congratulating: ✨ @Wendy Merchant and ✨ @Barbara Amarillas on reaching Level 8 in our community! 🌟 What This Really Means Level 8 isn’t just about points. It represents consistent contribution and real impact. These two members didn’t get here by chance. They showed up by: • Posting their projects • Encouraging others • Liking and commenting regularly • Answering questions • Sharing ideas and experiences 💛 How the Levels Really Work Points in this community are earned when others respond to what you do. So when you: • Share a project • Ask a question • Offer encouragement • Contribute to conversations And others engage with it… 👉 That’s how you earn points. But here’s the powerful part: When you like, comment, and support others, you are helping them earn points too. So growth doesn’t happen individually here… 👉 It happens together. 🤝 The Community Responded Because of how Barbara and Wendy showed up: • Conversations grew • Members felt encouraged • New people felt welcomed • Confidence increased across the community That’s what true contribution looks like. 🧶 Welcome to the CMK Inner Circle With Level 8, they are now invited into: ✨ The CMK Inner Circle ✨ This is a group of members who: • Help shape the direction of the community • Provide ideas and feedback • Support and guide others • Help protect the positive, supportive culture we’ve built This is where members move from participating… To helping lead. 💛 Want to Get There Too? There’s no shortcut. It’s simply: • Show up • Share • Engage • Support others And let the community respond. Please take a moment to congratulate them below 👇 They’ve truly earned this. Let’s keep the crank turning — together 🧶💛

Congratulations
I'm new here
Hi, I am new here and not sure how to navigate. I bought my first 22 pin childrens Singer machine on clearance at Walmart for $19.00 in early 2000's... I didnt even open it until 2023! My Father in law bought me the King size Addi for Christmas 2023 and boy did I love it. He did too! My husband bought me the smaller Addi for our Anniversary, then I bought the Mushroom. My husband then bought both Sentro machines! He said its like his garage when he needs tools to work on cars I needs machines for production! The plan was Pappa was going to sell plants and I was going sell knitting. Unfortunately his health failed and we had several Dr visits and hospital stays. We never made it to shows. He went Home last month, he and Mom are together again dancing in eternity. So Im looking forward to crafting again and Im sure he will be cheering me on from the otherside! He also was a crafter and crocheted, did chair caninning, woodworking and plant growing! Im looking forward to learning and maybe helping others too...
