Passed PMP on My 3rd Attempt – What Finally Worked
I just want to say a huge thank you to Andrew Ramdayal, the 35-hour PMP course, and PMI Study Hall. I’ll be real—I failed my first two attempts. Coming from a non-Agile background, the Process domain was tough for me. It wasn’t about memorizing anything, it was really about understanding how PMI wants you to think. What finally helped everything click was focusing on the logic behind the questions. Andrew’s 50 Mindset video, 200 Ultra Hard Questions, and the drag-and-drop videos helped me see things differently. I also leaned heavily on Study Hall—I did over 717 questions and kept retaking exams. Every wrong answer, I reviewed it, understood why, and kept going. That repetition made the difference. Honestly, Study Hall felt harder than the actual exam, which helped a lot on test day. The combination of Andrew’s approach, the 35-hour course, and just putting in the reps is what got me through. And yes… I wore BLUE, Andrew!! 💙 THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU 🙌

@Leena Kumar I took every practice exam on PMI Study Hall, multiple times. I sat for my first exam in March 2025, then retested again on 11/2/25. Knowing the exam format was changing—and that I only had one more attempt before waiting an entire year—really pushed me to lock in. From that point on, I studied consistently six days a week, a couple of hours each day, through February 2026. I passed my exam last month. My practice exam scores started in the 50s, but over time improved into the 70s and 80s before I sat for the exam. In addition to full practice exams, I used PMI Study Hall’s “Question of the Day” and the PMI Infinity Exam Simulator through ChatGPT, answering questions throughout the workday to stay sharp and reinforce the concepts. I also watched Andrew Ramdayal’s YouTube videos multiple times and read through the comments—there’s a lot of insight there. Once I locked into the PMP mindset, everything started to click. At the end of the day, understanding the mindset and truly grasping the Processes is what makes the difference in passing. Hope this helps.

@Leena Kumar best of luck to you! You got this 💪🏾 Keep taking the exams and answering the questions on Study Hall daily. Watch Andrew’s 200 Ultra Hard Questions video a few times and his mindset video a few times as well. Good luck 🍀

I failed twice, keep going!! Third time was the charm
1st Attempt and unfortunately failed
(TL;DR at bottom) Hello everyone, just wanted to share my experience taking the PMP exam. It was definitely challenging and I was nervous a few hours before the test and during the first section. Using Andrew’s Exam simulator was a great tool and I think that’s what helped me achieve at Target for People and Business. I got Below Target for Processes which will be my main focus going for my second attempt. I will say, the wording on the exam is so tricky and even when eliminating answers, being left with 2 or even 3 potentially good choices made it all the more difficult. The drag and drop were also a nightmare as I used Andrew’s 100 drag n drop study material which also helped but the way the choices were worded made it more difficult than I expected. All in all, I’m frustrated and bummed out at my results but still dedicated and have a new burning passion to pass this exam. Sorry for the long post and thank you for everyone who read. TL;DR: Studied my butt off but still failed the exam due to tricky wording, nerves, and lack of knowledge in Processes. Will attempt again.

Good morning ☀️ Same here! Passed business and people failed processes as well. The test was overwhelming… the wording. Your post is SPOT ON!! The exam is definitely more agile than I expected, like 90% agile. I take my exam again November 1st. Best of luck to you. I will use Study Hall this go round and continue watching AR’s videos
