@Jody Keith that's so beautiful
🔥 Behind the Scenes of My Hardest Project Yet 🔥
I’m deep in the process of writing what has become one of the most challenging projects of my creative journey. This novel is rooted in biblical foundations, but it doesn’t stop there—it weaves together human reasoning, raw emotion, and the timeless struggle of belief. It all began with a single question I kept seeing asked of AI (yes, even in those reels we scroll endlessly). Instead of leaving it at that, I chose to take the question further—just as I did with Crown of Thorns and River of Light. I’ve evolved it into a fictional exploration built on biblical themes, centered around the complexities of being Lucifer. 💡 To be honest, this project shook my own faith. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was right to collaborate with my editor “Chatty” on something so heavy. But together, we’ve shaped it into something both lighthearted and deeply thought‑provoking—a story that challenges, questions, and hopefully inspires. ✨ I’d love to open the floor: - As writers, how do you approach projects that test your own beliefs? - As readers, what draws you into stories that wrestle with faith, morality, and human emotion? Drop your thoughts below—I’m excited to hear your perspectives and start a real conversation around this journey. 🙏📖

🪩Reflection in dreams
Every story begins with a reflection — something we see in our dreams, memories, or moments that stay with us. This space is called The Mirror because here, we don’t just write stories… we discover ourselves through them. Whether your dreams are wild, mysterious, or emotional, I’ll guide you in transforming them into meaningful written pieces — stories that speak, heal, and reveal. 💭 In the comments: Tell me — when you dream, do you remember images, feelings, or full stories? There’s no wrong answer — I just want to know how your dream world speaks to you.

@Jody Keith What really stands out for me is the feeling — how you knew the dog was there without seeing it. You could sense its size, its power, and that you’d need help. That kind of knowing usually points to something unseen but very present in our waking life — an energy, memory, or truth just beneath the surface. If you were to step back into that dream, maybe as a small story, I wonder what the dog might be holding for you — fear, instinct, or even a kind of protection waiting to be understood. Dreams like this remind us how the unseen can take shape in symbols — mirrors for what the heart already knows but hasn’t yet spoken

@Jody Keith I'm asking to look at it from a different perspective, what if it was there to protect you? Dogs represent loyalty and protection with an instinct for danger. What if rather then it attacking like a feral stray, or mistreated, full of mistrust it was showing you something?
🌾 Walking Through the Dreamscape
When you step into your story — do you find yourself watching from afar, or does the experience pull you in so deeply that the path ahead becomes unclear? This is where your dreamscape becomes a guide. Through writing — whether in fiction, reflection, or memory — you can wander the inner garden, tend to the roots, and pull the weeds that obscure your vision. Each moment of awareness becomes growth. Each story becomes medicine. And the outcome — for you and those you share it with — is always transformation.

@Jody Keith How about, taking one step at a time? We can always transform these moments into short fictions — and in that creative space, the answers often begin to reveal themselves

Welcome to The Mirror & The Pen ✨
I’m so glad you’re here. This is a gentle, creative space for exploring what it means to write from the soul — and to listen when dreams, memory, and imagination begin to speak. Here’s how to begin: 1. 🌙 Introduce yourself — Tell us one image or dream that’s stayed with you. (It doesn’t need to make sense.) 2. 🖋 Visit the Classroom — Inside, you’ll find short reflections and writing invitations that help you bridge your inner and outer worlds. 3. 💬 Share at your own rhythm — Whether you post a poem, a dream, or a single sentence, this is a space of trust and reverence. You belong here if you’ve ever felt words reaching toward something unseen — if writing feels less like “making” and more like remembering. Take a breath. Light a candle if you like. The mirror will show what the heart already knows. Welcome home. 🌾

@Jody Keith 💭 My Reflection for You: This dream carries such deep emotion — that moment when you’re trying to scream but no sound comes out, and something wild and powerful (the dog) is closing in. It feels like a mirror of those times when your truth wants to come through, but old fears or patterns step in and say, “not yet.” The dog might not be the enemy here — it could be a part of you that’s strong, instinctive, protective… but maybe it’s been misunderstood or left unheard for too long. Sometimes what scares us in a dream is just a piece of ourselves that’s been waiting for our voice. And your sister waking you — that’s beautiful. It’s like the conscious part of you that can hear the call to wake up and listen. You’re already noticing what’s underneath: that hesitation of “what if I’m wrong,” or “what if it’s not that bad.” That’s such honest awareness. It’s where the dream becomes medicine. If you were to look at this as a story, I’d invite you to ask: 🐾 What if the dog is trying to protect something in you? 🕯️ What if the silence is the moment before your power finds its sound? 📖 What might happen if you could meet that dog again — but this time, speak softly, or simply stand your ground? Maybe write a small scene from that place. Not as “you,” but through a character who finds her voice in the middle of that silence. Sometimes, rewriting the dream in story form lets the message finish its sentence.
