Quick personal intro
Hey all, my name is Tony Wei and I'm 19 and from New Jersey. I'm currently attending university in Boston. I'm the founder and lead project manager of CourseCrafters, in which I help people turn their passions into vibrant online academies. Currently, my goals are to scale my business up to 20k per month within the next year, find myself a good woman I can love, and to read more books. Future goals (~20 years later) are to be a loving husband and father, and to create a school. To become a modern-day renaissance man. Here are some of my other passions: - Reforming what education looks like in the world. - Muay Thai - Philosophy/reading great books - Writing Glad to be a part of this community, and wish all of you the best of luck in your journeys! My DM's are open to connect with like-minded individuals.

🫣 I’m not good enough ☹️
How often do you catch yourself thinking things like: 🌟"I'm just not smart enough to figure this out." 🌟"I don't deserve to be successful or happy." 🌟"I'm not as good at my job as my colleagues." 🌟"No matter how hard I work, it's never good enough." 🌟"I'm not good-looking or likable enough for people to care about me." 🌟"I'm a failure compared to everyone else." 🌟"My ideas aren't good enough for people to listen to." 🌟"I always mess things up; I'll never get it right." 🌟"People will realise soon that I'm not as capable as they think." 🌟"I don't fit in here; I'm way out of my league." 🌟"I don't deserve love or respect from anyone." 🌟"I should be doing better than I am; I'm falling behind everyone." 🌟"I don't have what it takes to be really happy." 🌟 "I need to be perfect to be accepted, but I'm far from it." It's quite the list, isn't it? Like an over-enthusiastic artist, our minds sometimes paint a picture that's more Dali-surrealism than a realistic portrait. These thoughts can crowd our mental gallery, each one a chaotic imitation Pollock screaming for attention.πŸ‘€ Thoughts like these are pretty common and are often a sign that we're feeling self doubt & judgment. But you're definitely not alone in this. Many people feel this way. It's like an annoying bad habit that can really bring us down. This kind of thinking can lead to feeling disconnected from everything – our feelings, our body, our thoughts, our hobbies, our drive, and our relationships. We might just go through the motions every day or try too hard to please others because we're not feeling great about ourselves. We end up living by default, by demand, in distress & dysfunction. Feeling disconnected like this doesn't just go away on its own. It needs us to really care for ourselves and believe in ourselves. And it's not as hard as it might seem. You've got what it takes to make the most out of your life... you just have to start by being a bit curious and kind to yourself. This is the first step towards dealing with those feelings of "I am not enough." And we'll only sort this out in the big picture if we start with ourselves first.

I've only begun to overcome these kinds of thoughts in the past year, through rigorous meditation and shadow-work. Turns out, a lot of this imposter syndrome comes from childhood trauma. Even outside of coaching, this kind of mindset is damaging. It can manifest itself in your relationships, in thoughts like "I'm not worthy of her love", which can lead to a whole host of self-sabotaging behaviors. That's something I had to learn the hard way.
