Hey Ben, this is exactly how I scaled my business and got over 700k followers. I work with influencers daily. You’re thinking of it wrong, the idea isn’t to convert the influencer’s followers into customers. You’ll never do that. What you’re after is the UGC. You want them to use their creativity to make you some awesome content. Have them do reviews, before and after, talk about how they found you, etc. Throw in some comedy. They have to post it to their social media and add you as a collaborator. Then you make that video an ad. Because they have a large following, the video will get more views and has a higher chance of going viral. So meta and google will see it as providing value and they’ll keep pushing it to more people. Then you target that video to the zip codes you’re after to drive traffic to your website. Draft a contract on what their deliverables are. Like how many videos they are responsible for, which channels they’re going to post on, the frequency they’ll post. Will it be on stories and their main page? They agree to add you as a collaborator. I’d absolutely do it. If it works out well, work out a deal for consistent work. If it doesn’t work out, then it was a learning experience. You’ll want to vet the quality of the influencers content first though. Check out their previous work and if they’ve worked with other businesses before. Anyway that’s my 2 cents.
