Coaching certification
Hello everyone, I'm researching coaching certifications and would love to hear about your real-world experiences. If you are a certified coach, would you mind sharing: 1. Which certifying body or school did you get your credential through and in which country US, Europe...(e.g., ICF, EMCC, independent)? 2. Roughly how much did the total training and certification process cost you? 3. What did the training entail (e.g., number of training hours, live practice, mentor coaching, or exams)? 4. Was it worth the investment for your practice? Thank you everyone, I appreciate all input.

Such a great thread to start because the price tags and commitment levels are all over the place. In corporate or executive spaces people tend to look for ICF accreditation right away, but for life or niche coaching most clients care way more about your results than the badge. What specific niche are you planning to focus on?
Three pricing tiers isn't the answer
"Offer three tiers so everyone finds their fit." I think this is wrong. Every time I pack three outfit choices for the same day, I freeze in front of my suitcase. Your prospect does the same thing staring at your pricing page. One clear offer at the right price closes faster than three options fighting for attention.

The suitcase analogy is spot on. Analysis paralysis kicks in the second people have to compare features across tiers instead of just deciding if the core outcome is worth the price. A single no brainer offer makes the buying decision so much smoother.

Creating resources while trying to get eyes on an offer usually ends up scattering my week if I'm not careful. I map out the client resources in Google Docs first, but I keep the weekly to dos in Floment AI so I actually finish the admin tasks before starting new ideas. It helps stop me from bouncing between three things at once, though keeping my head down on just one thing is still the real challenge.
Are you using AI to build apps for your coaching business?
I keep hearing from coaches who are using AI to build their own apps as a way to share their coaching expertise beyond 1:1 work. - What are you using to build your apps? - How did you get started? - How much does it cost you each month? - And what kind of app have you created? We'd love to hear what you’ve learned so far.

Exploring automated assistants to handle repetitive client questions has really changed how scalable coaching material can be. In my own setup, I handle program design in Notion and use Floment AI alongside Flowie to quickly summarize recurring notes and draft action checklists. Blending an AI assistant with a simple task layout keeps the operational overhead surprisingly low.
Posting as part of the welcome in the classroom
Hey everyone 👋 I’m currently building out a few things in my coaching business, but the main focus right now is simplifying everything, while making sure my foundations are solid. I work with busy, high-achieving women who feel overwhelmed by fitness, and the biggest pattern I keep seeing is that they don’t need more workouts… they need structure. So I’ve been: - refining a 6-week strength plan - building a simple “start strong” intro offer to help women begin lifting safely and confidently - and creating a core reboot to help women rebuilding their core Behind the scenes, I’m also working on how everything connects together more clearly… so it feels less like random offers and more like a journey. One thing I’ve been thinking about a lot lately is how to help clients feel successful quickly, without adding more pressure or complexity. Curious if anyone else has found simple ways to build early wins into their programs?

Keeping the initial milestones small makes a massive difference for client momentum early on. I like to draft the overarching program journey inside Google Docs, then turn each phase into simple project cards in Floment AI so progress feels visible instead of daunting. When people can see one clear next step instead of the whole mountain, they actually follow through.
