One of the reasons I created Base64 Academy
After years of working in and around complex systems, data and change, I kept seeing the same issue. Experienced professionals were expected to: - shape direction - influence decisions - drive value - engage confidently in technical discussions but were rarely taught how to bridge that gap ๐ Base64 Academy exists to fix that. It's a focused learning initiative under B.I.T.S Network, built to help experienced professionals operate at a senior level - without turning them into engineers ๐ท๐พโโ๏ธ ๐ท๐ผโโ๏ธ I'll be sharing more about what that looks like in practice ๐ฃ

Time to Level UP ๐
Iโve been quiet on Skool.com, but not inactive. Over the past year, Iโve been working closely with experienced Business Analysts across the UK and US. One pattern kept showing up: Highly capable BAs were getting stuck; not because of lack of experience, but because: โข They were over-focused on documentation โข Under-involved in decision-making โข Uncomfortable in technical conversations โข Struggling with imposter syndrome That gap between experience and seniority is what Iโve been focused on solving. Iโll be sharing more on this over the coming weeks.

My name is Tomide and I am the founder of Base64 Academy. I have a degree in computer science from the University of Manchester and have worked predominantly as a full stack software engineer for the last 6 years. I have a passion for teaching and have been for over 3 years now helping friends and family on their journey into Tech through courses and general advice/information. My main goal here is to help others on that journey into Tech and foster a community that supports them even after the transition. Beit data, software, or design, I strongly believe everyone has a role to play in the Tech ecosystem and I would love to help you find it and build a successful career.
