I think it depends on how much you can spend in a pair of shoes. My go to brands would be: - Mizuno - Asics Mostly because I think they make shoes specifically for volleyball. There are some other major sports brands that make very good shoes. Some thinks you should take in consideration aside from the money is what kind of position you'll play to adjust the type of shoe you'll need. For example some shoes made for basketball have very good soles with crazy grip to the floor and super thick soles that help cushion if you play in a position that has lots of jumping and moving arround. I think David made some shorts in his youtibe channel trying different shoes. If it helps you currently I'm using a pair of Asics gel rebound, they ar super comfy have a great grip and don't cost too much. But I'm looking for an upgrade to shoes with thicker soles to help with the cushion of the jumps
@Andrea Ganjea from what I can see the soles it has are the same as the gel rebound that I have and it's very good at sudden stops. I never slipped since I have them. Regarding other technologies the shoe can have I'm completely clueless haha. But the soles are super good to train and play even in dusty floors, just remind to clean them regularly
I eat something light and energetic before training (1hour before) and something with more protein after training. Just don't stuff yourself like a pig after training or you could end up throwing up mid training
