Looks like a fine hair style...great detail from that lens.
The hidden world of spiders
Until now, I’ve mostly photographed bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. Although I often tried to find an interesting spider to photograph, my searches usually ended in disappointment. This time was different. I almost walked past this spot, but something caught my eye at the last moment. It’s the first spider I’ve managed to capture in such a special moment 📷 Camera: Canon EOS R8 🔎 Lens: Canon RF 100mm F2.8L MACRO IS USM 💡 Lighting: natural Handheld, one shot Camera settings: 1/250s, F/11, ISO-1600

Love to look at spiders and there intricate webs, especially with dew on the web. Good one
A Moment Worth Waiting For 💜🐝
Among dozens of black-and-yellow bumblebees visiting the lavender, there was only one that stood out. It was flying far away in a hard to-reach spot, so I had to wait for it to come closer. The strong wind and cloudy sky made an already challenging shot even harder to capture. After about 30 minutes, that perfect moment finally came. This is one of the most special bumblebee photos I have ever taken. And this is exactly why it is always worth picking up your camera and stepping outside, even in challenging conditions — because you never know what beautiful and unforgettable moment might be waiting to be captured. 💜📷 📷 Camera: Canon EOS R8 🔎 Lens: Canon RF 100mm F2.8L MACRO IS USM 💡 Lighting: natural Handheld, one shot Camera settings: 1/1250s, F/3.2, ISO-2000

Greetings all....From Marina, California which is by Monterey. I am looking forward to learning and viewing others work. I used to have a macro lens and enjoyed capturing the detail of the Creation, mostly flowers. I hope to expand to insects. I now just have screw on filter for macro work which I hope will still bring out good details of flowers and insect. I have taken mostly landscape images. If interested you can see some of my work here. https://tomgibson.smugmug.com/ which I set up when I was taking pictures for groups. I worked in hospital physical therapy unit for 18 years. My role was exercise for patients, I am not a licensed PT. Everyday life finds me in my garage gym, riding a gravel bike, hiking locally and in the sierras mountains with the camera, behind production cameras at church, shooting handheld video for our church's announcement and B roll. A beautiful shot, earned through patience 🌸🐝
Despite having a rather tough Thursday at work, I decided to pack my camera after getting home, head outside, and simply look for interesting moments to capture. Sometimes, all it takes is standing by a patch of flowers for a while to spot something truly beautiful. Nature has an incredible way of amazing us with its tiny details—if we just give ourselves the time to notice them. 📷 Camera: Canon EOS R8 🔎 Lens: Canon RF 100mm F2.8L MACRO IS USM 💡 Lighting: natural Handheld, one shot Camera settings: 1/1250s, F/2.8, ISO-500

@Dana De Costa I just joined this group. I echo Peters comment about loving nature and being out in it. I Like hiking and wandering through the woods days and night looking for some interesting subject to capture, then try and find a good composition.
