Start Here: You don’t have to pretend to be "fine" anymore.
Hey everyone, Tom here. First off, take a deep breath. You made it. I know walking into a room full of strangers (even a digital one) can be terrifying. You might be wondering if you belong here, or if you have the energy to "keep up." Let me stop you right there: There is no keeping up to do here. We built Talking With Tom (TWT) because the world is loud, and trying to explain depression to people who don’t have it is exhausting. Out there, you have to wear a mask. In here, you can take the mask off. Whether you are having a good day, a numb day, or a "can't get out of bed" day - you are welcome exactly as you are. 🏠 How to use this space: This is our living room. Share your wins (no matter how small), vent about the hard stuff, or just read what others are going through so you feel less alone. If you came here for the "Bad Day Rescue Guide" (our free toolkit for surviving low days), click the "Classroom" tab at the top. It’s unlocked and waiting for you. The Rules: We only have two big ones. Zero Judgment: We are all fighting a battle. Kindness is our currency. Safety: We are a peer support group, not doctors.
