Back in the gym, getting some size prep for next year, enjoying the offseason gym program.
How are you/your players going?
We're a couple weeks into the season now - what are you or your players struggling with? Let me know and I'll see if I can help

@James Halliday the joys of football hey ! You to mate make sure you take your time or it bites you twice as bad !
Quick question for you...
If I were to hold a zoom call tomorrow evening would you join and actively participate in a Q&A? It would be a bit of an open chat, ideally for parents and coaches.

@Josh Growden going well legend, I hope you’re keeping busy!
Bodywork
I'm coaching Year 7's next year and keen to know of any drills that would help them from getting pushed off the ball so easily when it is in dispute. A couple of my big guys in particular would benefit from better utilising their size rather than getting nudged out of the contest for ground balls. Cheers.

Hey Chris ! One I’ve seen used from juniors into seniors it’s circle up to 10(if you have the number)give each kid a number 1-10 and call out two numbers and throw the ball into the circle and allow the two kids to compete to win the ball, they then have to handball to someone in the circle around them, I found it was a good drill as not only does it teach strong over the ball and retaining possession but also builds a bit of atmosphere and comradery in the group as the people on the outside of the circle will laugh and cherp etc… Good luck for your season!
