This is a great lesson! Taekwondo is a lifestyle. Just think about it the first 3-4 years is working towards black belt. None of this is next level stuff. Its stance, position, pressure, focus, respect, form, one-step, front snap kick, roundhouse, back kick, side kick, spin kick, etc. It takes what maybe 2 years to get a halfway decent spin kick but you probably are still searching for power or the ability to execute it quickly in sparing. So you need to build up your skills and maintain them over years of training. Eat healthy, get quality sleep, avoid injury. Since i started taekwondo later in life there is a ceiling for me but if i dont work hard every day i will never find out where that ceiling is. Always working and striving for more thats who we are!

Most Taekwondo athletes want to be able to do this.
Most Taekwondo athletes want to be able to do this. Powerful kicks. Beautiful poomsae. Amazing flexibility. Speed. Control. Confidence. But most people never reach that level. I know how you feel. You watch athletes perform incredible skills and think: "I wish I could do that." You see them spinning, jumping, kicking higher, moving faster, and making it look effortless. I've been there too. What most people don't realize is that these athletes weren't born with those skills. They built them. One practice. One repetition. One day at a time. The secret isn't talent. The secret is consistent training with the right guidance. When you focus on improving just 1% every day, something amazing happens. Your kicks get higher. Your balance improves. Your confidence grows. Your techniques become cleaner. Slowly, you start becoming the athlete you once looked up to. One day, someone will be watching YOU. They'll see your skills. They'll see your confidence. They'll see your performance. And they'll say: "I wish I could do that." What they won't see are the thousands of repetitions, the discipline, and the consistency that got you there. That's what separates those who dream from those who achieve. 🥋🔥 Keep showing up. Keep improving. Become the athlete others look up to.

................ Left the first two rows open cause I'm not sure how to respond. 😮 Amazing things we can do. I think this might be our next evolutionary step though. 😀 Inspiring words. Dedication to one's craft whatever that may be makes life exciting. Find love in simplicity and consistency is one of life's great lessons I have learned. Everyday is a precious gift so go for it and become the best taekwondo student you can. @Charlie Chong Thanks for sharing!
