What if you could turn any real product into a tiny unboxing scene? I tried it with a Nintendo Switch 2 and created a miniature-style unboxing video entirely with AI. The goal was to keep the product recognizable while making everything around it feel tiny — from the packaging and hands to the tools and unboxing process. The interesting part is that you don’t need to generate every shot from scratch. Start with a strong product image, then use image-to-video to bring each step to life: opening the box, removing the console, handling the accessories, and revealing the final product. For better results, focus your prompts on specific physical actions rather than just describing the overall scene. Tell the model exactly what should move, what should stay still, and how the camera should behave. This workflow is especially useful for product content, commercials, and those satisfying miniature videos that are difficult or expensive to film in real life. How I Turned a Crazy Idea Into Reality 🔥 I wanted to make it look like lava was breaking out of my computer screen after I threw a sock at it 😂 So this is how I did it: 1. I filmed the original video first. 2. I took a screenshot at the exact moment the sock hit the screen. 3. I used GPT Image 2 to add the hole and cracks. 4. I uploaded both the original video and edited screenshot into Seedance 2.5. 5. I let Seedance animate the lava breaking out and interacting with my desk. That’s basically it. Real footage → GPT Image 2 → Seedance 2.5 → crazy idea brought to life. This is a fun example of how you can now turn almost any weird idea in your head into an actual animation. 🔥

Both models can now do 30 seconds in a single generation, so I ran the same prompt through both to see where the difference shows up. Seedance 2.5 wins on visual quality. Sharper output and it holds the animation style better across the full 30 seconds, which is where most models start drifting. Wan 3.0 has its own strength: it fills in details you never asked for. It added FC Barcelona elements on its own, and I never put that in my prompt. Nice if you want a model that thinks along with you instead of only executing. And the price is worth thinking about. At 720p, Wan 3.0 runs around $0.10 per second against roughly $0.21 for Seedance 2.5. That's $3 versus $6.30 for a 30 second clip, and that adds up when you need four or five attempts before you keep one.
