I broke up with Chat GPT and here's what I've noticed
I feel a sense of pride in my creations again. I didn't feel the nuance until I stopped using Chat GPT altogether, but my content feels like me again. Now I feel the difference. When I used Chat GPT for my content, it felt shallow, superficial and looking back on posts, I cringed more often because deep down, I knew it wasn't from me. I'm not buying into the machine that is content creation To keep the algorithm happy is to just pump out as much content as humanly possible, but most of us also have jobs and families to care for, so Chat GPT becomes our "ally" to make it happen. But I was just handing over my autonomy to a robot and calling it my own. Once I separated myself from the content machine and stopped trying to follow all the conflicting advice on social media of how often to post and what to post, I noticed my business became me again and I actually started to get more engagement. Humans need humans, not robots ESPECIALLY in a community setting. This is why I love in person events so much, because it's vibes. There is no robot middle man. You are connecting with another human, human to human. So I wanted to make sure that I keep the same interactions online. I still have the urge to go to Chat GPT and say "please tidy up this copy and refine it" I'm not even letting myself do this. Because Chat GPT will turn it into another post that looks like AI slop. The internet and AI has been around for years. Humans can feel energetics through technology, especially when someone uses AI and when someone doesn't. I can't explain it. Call it intuition. But it is definitely felt. For me personally, as soon as I get the vibe that Chat GPT wrote it, I'm checked out. Now, this isn't to say that AI is the devil or that you definitely shouldn't use it. If you are using it right now and it's working for you, then amazing! Just make sure you don't hand over your creativity to it.

I feel a ChatGPT break-up is incoming for me as well. I work in software so authenticity doesn’t matter - if the code runs it runs. But the whole process of using it feels like a dirty drug that grips straight onto what it means to be a creating human. It’s like removing yourself from the process while you’re still there and the whole process becomes hollow and not nurturing. Also seen science that indicates that the more you use AI the more your brain wiring changes to become dumber and lazier. Literally AI induced brain damage.

Dude. I love the simplicity and power of that
Awesome playmates
Just read this bit from the Artists Way and just felt grateful for this community 🙏 doesn’t matter if what we create is big or small, serious or light, it makes such a difference to feel that scaffolding of the community hey. “POISONOUS PLAYMATES Creativity flourishes when we have a sense of safety and self-acceptance. Your artist, like a small child, is happiest when feeling a sense of security. As our artist's protective parent, we must learn to place our artist with safe companions. Toxic playmates can capsize our artist's growth. Not surprisingly, the most poisonous playmates for us as recovering creatives are people whose creativity is still blocked. Our recovery threatens them.”
MAKING THE CHANGE TO HAND WRITTEN MORNING PAGES
Waddup team! I'm personally making the change from typing my morning pages to hand writing my morning pages. After watching Music for Mushrooms documentary last night. East Forest brings out a big box of all of his journals from over the years and I clearly saw myself doing that in the future with my box of journals. You HAVE to trust those intuitive nudges and visions. I'm a big advocate for that. What intuitive nudges and visions have you had recently? Lemme know in the comments below 😎
