@Samuel Hambley I have heard the Chinese dingos that cheap are absolutely trash. During Covid we bought an expensive knock off, it ran fun, but stupid slow, until the hydraulic pump rattles off the engine. The company wanted $5k for a new pump even though just the splines were stripped.

@Samuel Hambley thatโ€™s great. I guess everyone has different experiences. Paid $28k for an โ€œiron rhino 1,000โ€ with bucket, Harley rake, maybe another attachment. One of the worst equipment purchases I made. It was a simple machine but, $5k for a pump and being told torquing the bolts was regular maintenance even though it wasnโ€™t in the poorly written handbook was too much for me.
Who here is more actively doing removals as opposed to trimming?
Myself do way more removals over the last 3 yrs as a contract climber.

90% removals, we do a lot of fence line clearing, canopy raising, etc but hardly any whole tree trims.

I hate climbing srt. We do mostly removals and I just never got comfortable with srt as it Always felt awkward.
