I already shared this on my IG, but Mano brought it up on tonight's stream... This fits with the whole feels of this place and what he goes into. Recently dug up and went back to my ipod (that currently got disrupted cause now the screen went out, but I'm working on that...Thank God for my husband, who's a tech whiz... Hopefully the part coming will fix it...anyway...). Way less distracting. This year, there's been an uptick in ipod modding or opting into pure mp3 players (new or second hand), as people are thinking more about analog.

@Mano Elia One thing I really loved about them was that you had to (most likely) take the time to transfer your music to 80 minute tapes, so I appreciated that labour and curated thought that went into it every time I listened. The limited capacity of a mixtape or cd, but the increased portability of an mp3 was kind of a perfect mix. And it was direct transfer, so you didn't need a 3rd party interface to interact between the source and destination.

Only 50 minutes and there's lots to unpack. Great description of how the "nudge" works. The affect of spell is outrage, isolation, and hatred. I feel like the modern equivalent to the Rothchilds of the French Revolution is Palantir. They'll let everything else burn down to institute their system of control.
